This map shows the known lands in the world. Markers for certain landmarks are shown, and clicking on each will give a brief description of the location and a link to the corresponding article.
Legend[]
- The zoomed in square marks different locations in Republic City.
- Blue markers are locations that were first visited by Team Avatar during Winter 99 AG.
- Green markers are locations that were first visited by Team Avatar during Spring 100 AG.
- Red markers are locations that were first visited by Team Avatar during Summer 100 AG.
- Orange markers are locations that were first visited by Korra in 170 AG.
- Yellow markers are locations that were first visited by Korra in 171 AG.
- Purple markers are locations that were first visited by Korra in late 171 AG.
Trivia[]
- The above map excludes an entire hemisphere of Earth, most of which is oceanic. It is also heavily distorted, much like a Mercator projection, a type of cylindrical map that makes a round surface appear flat while still preserving loxodromes. This means the Water Tribe is territoriality smaller than it appears on the map, and the Fire Nation is larger.[1]
- The locations for Aang's favorite spots to ride elephant koi, hopping llamas, and hog monkeys were mentioned in "The Avatar Returns".[2]
- The map of Republic City is taken from the Welcome to Republic City online game.[3]
