- December 13, 2013 Gene Luen Yang is teaming up with cartoonist Faith Erin Hicks to create a 10-page comic book for Free Comic Book Day to be released in May. (Source: [2] )
- November 20, 2013 Creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko announce that the third book of The Legend of Korra will be titled "Change", and will follow Korra as she deals with the changes in the world as a result of Harmonic Convergence and leaving the portals open. (Source: [3] )

- September 22, 2013: New and old voices join the cast of Legend of Korra. Jason Isaacs, Jason Marsden, Anne Heche, and "the little gal from Mad Men" are at work. Depending on what is being recorded by now, either Book 3 or Book 4. (Source: [13])
- September 10, 2013: In addition to the introduction of a game releasing The Legend of Korra related art yesterday, a new trailer has been posted. It shows off more about the season, and it appears the plot involves Dark Spirits intent on destroying the Southern Water Tribe. (Source: [14])
- August 29, 2013: Character bios have been updated on Nick.com. There is a lot of new info. (Source: [15])
- August 28, 2013: A new trailer has arrived for Book Two, comprised mainly of clips that have already been shown. (Source: [16])
- August 18, 2013: As announced in an interview the creators held at a book signing, Lin Beifong will be heavily featured in Book Three of The Legend of Korra. Book Three will also reveal more information about her family and about earthbending. (Source: [17])
