Fanon Review: Jump by Azulazulazula

is back for another review.

Today, I'll be reviewing by . First, I'd like to start off by saying OMG MRtG I HAVEN'T TALKED TO YOU SINCE YOU LEFT THE FRS HOW ARE YOU DOING BOI? Besides that, "Jump" is the emotional story of friendship and love and mystery between two characters we know and love.

  • Mistakes/Grammar: 9.2 Here's the thing: there aren't any unintentional grammar mistakes or typos, at least as far as I can see. The writing style is really realistic for how most people think, but unfortunately most people don't have all their everyday thoughts in perfect grammar. C'est la vie.
  • General Writing: 9.4 I think that the first person writing is a very go…

Fanon Review: The Water Tribes by WaterMasterFinn

here on this fine Wednesday. Today was the PSAT, and thus I don't really have any homework and a couple extra hours. Fun!

First off, I'd like to start by saying that the less popular a fanon is, the more it warms my heart to review it--other than giving advice, I really believe that reviews are a wonderful device for less known fanfics. Maybe it's just because none of my fanons have ever really been popular, but I really feel a connection with the lesser-known ones. by follows the story of the splitting of the Water Tribe into the North and South and some other stuff.

Fanon Review: Burning Air by Sokka jr and Henryjh98

here for a late review. I've been going through a really angsty period right now, I think. My history teacher gave me a B on the notebook I spent forever preparing, so now I'm doing all the little things that she doesn't dock points for, but irritate her nonetheless... like calling her "Missus" instead of "Doctor". That and my writing's been kinda sketchy. I had one of my characters in a non-Avatar fanfic commit suicide, and now I'm kinda taking a step back to assess my attitude...

But that doesn't have anything to do with my review for today! by and follows the story of another survivor of the Air Nomad genocide and the story building up to said genocide!

Writing Contest: Maybe Something for Making MibuWolf Cry

Listen up, fanon writers. Today, it's time to somber things up around here. My contest isn't some action writing contest, or comedy, or even adventure (this is a response to the first two, but Ratava's contest is awesome, too, so yeah xD)

"This is my tragic story, just the breaking of my heart." ― U-KISS, 0330

That's right. Though it's not necessarily my tragic story, I just wanted to use that quote. This is, however, a contest to try and evoke the most upset reaction from yours truly (and I might even have a vote at the end for others who read the submissions). I'm a pretty emotional reader, but you still need to get me somehow attached to one or more of the characters before breaking my heart. Now, please note that this doesn't necessarily me…

Fanon Review: The House of Angkara by Omashu Rocks

here for another review. I'd like to say that I actually had this review on time despite the late posting. My computer was fudging up, and so I read Angkara on my lovely Windows Phone and then typed the review... on my dad's manuel typewriter.

Anyway, I was really excited about reading by after being so pleasantly surprised by his other fanon I reviewed last. But... I don't know how to sugar coat this: Angkara was a real let-down for how good Political Animals was. And I'm going to tell you why.
