Hey there, Mageddon725 here, reviewing The Saga of Kento by Jacob13Kyle on behalf of the Fanon Review Squad.
In 100 AG, Avatar Aang and much of Team Avatar confronted the Fire Lord's air fleet over the Western Earth Kingdom. During his duel with Ozai, Aang was forced to kill the Fire Lord, as he never learned Energybending. In the Fire Nation Capital, Zuko and Katara arrived too late to stop Azula's crowning as Fire Lady. The new and mentally unstable ruler then severely wounded her brother in an Agni Kai. Five years since the Fire Nation withdrawal, an uneasy sense of peace has fallen on the world. The Earth Kingdom has used much of this time to rebuild its war ravaged countryside and bolster its army should the Fire Nation return. Surviving towns and villages, mainly former Fire Nation Colonies, have banded together and formed a loose confederacy known as The Unified Independent Territories. Team Avatar has settled in various corners of the world, trying to return to their normal lives. Yet they are always alert, should the war reignite once again.
I have to say, I loved the action sequences in this fanon; they were incredible. Unfortunately, unexplained continuity issues and other confusing elements kept me from enjoying this fanon piece to the fullest.
Scores:
Story – 8.0: The story is very interesting, but I have little sense as to how everything really fits.
Action – 9.8: By far some of the best action scenes I’ve read on this wiki. There is a lot of detail in each one, and they are very well-written.
Writing – 9.0: There were a few choppy areas here and there, but overall the writing was solid. Also, it seemed as though the word “said” was overused.
Creativity – 9.1: This is definitely one of the more creative ideas I’ve seen from an after-the-war fanon, but the execution of the story needs work.
Believability – 6.0: It wasn’t specific instances I had a problem with; it was more that the changes to the story were sort of explained on the main page and never really talked about in detail in the story itself.
Character Development – 8.0: I’ve seen that each character has a distinct personality. Now I need to see their growth and change.

Advice for Jacob13Kyle: Your action scenes are superb! However, I would suggest adding details into the story that reveal how things are different and why, otherwise, some of your readers might get confused. One other small point of contention I had: Why is one of the characters named Dutch? Where in the Avatar world would they have a point of reference for that? Just something to think about.
Who should read The Saga of Kento? Anyone who likes after-the-war fanons and excellent action scenes should definitely read this one.
