Messages[]
Tale of Two Lovers[]
The Tale of Two Lovers, Pt. 1 | Two lovers forbidden from one another, a war divides their people... |
---|---|
The Tale of Two Lovers, Pt. 3 | "Secret Tunnel! Secret Tunnel! Through the mountains. Secret, Secret, Secret, Secret TUNNEL!" "Yeah!" |
Southern Archipelago dojo[]
From Xin Ming | I don't understand, you've been trying to hide this whole time... Where are you going? And why can't I follow you?! |
---|---|
From Dojo Master | It's time I joined the fight, to end this war. |
Team Avatar by the Hundred Year War's end[]
From Avatar Aang | I need to figure out what to do once I face the Fire Lord. |
---|---|
From Avatar Aang | The monks always taught me that all life is sacred. |
From Avatar Aang | I don't know if I can do it, but I need to restore balance to this world. |
From Katara | It's been a while...but I have learned a lot through my journey. |
From Katara | I think it's time for a rematch... |
From Zuko | I thought I had what I wanted, but I was wrong. Honor is not something that is given to you. It's something you earn by choosing to do what's right. |
Team Avatar's first visit of Omashu[]
Aang | And there it is... I used to come here all the time to visit my friend. |
---|---|
Katara | Wow! We don't have cities like this in the South Pole! |
Sokka | They have buildings that don't melt! |
King of Omashu | Instead of seeing what they want you to see, you got to open your brain to the possibilities. |
Relating to Kiwaq[]
From Wen | [About Kiwaq.] She claims to be a direct descendant of the 5th Nation pirates, but I haven't been able to find the paperwork to support it. Maybe she's just trying to bolster her authority among Cutthroats... but maybe it's true. |
---|---|
From Boru The Brown, Pirate | [About Kiwaq.] Half my crew were food for the Tiger Sharks in the first five minutes after she boarded. The rest saw no choice but to join her or stand and die. I escaped with my First Mate and Cabin Boy, but don't ask me to return to those shores. Not ever. |
From Kiwaq | Think of it this way: In honest work, the wages are bad, and the work is hard. For pirates, the work is easy, and the loot is plenty. Who wouldn't side with us? The worst that can happen is you're hanged. No. A brief life and a happy one is all I ask. How about you? What would you choose if you were free? |
Relating to Jeong Jeong[]
From Aang | Sifu, I am ready to learn more. |
---|---|
From Jeong Jeong | I can teach you. But only if you have learned patience. |
Relating to Gyatso[]
From Aang | Can I ask...what would you do, if you found out you were the Avatar? |
---|---|
From Gyatso | Hmm, that is a question to ponder more on... but my cake throwing game would certainly become much more spectacular. |
From Aang | I wanted to thank you for teaching me. I know it must have taken a lot to give up everything you had. |
Nightmares and Daydreams[]
Tired Aang | Look... I appreciate what you guys are saying, but the stress and the nightmares... they were just too much. Staying awake is the best way for me to deal with it. |
---|---|
Dream Sheep | People are always trying to use us as pillows... We're happy to be a support, but you really shouldn't try to count on us if you want to stay awake. |
From Guru Pathik...maybe? | Chakras, chakras, everybody loves chakras! Chakras, chakras, chakra sandwich tastes good! Yum! |
From Momo and Appa | You've got to take care of yourself, Aang. You can't go on like this. |
Experiences of Hundred Year War soldiers[]
Earth Kingdom Soldier | What I saw there will.. be with me for my life. I've never witnessed such brutality before. How do [you] go on after something like that?" |
---|---|
Captain Boqin | They say only the fallen have seen the end of the War. Take comfort in knowing we prevailed, and that the cost would have been much higher if we failed. |
From a Fire Nation Soldier | Cease fire! The Captain's here. |
From Masaru | Time to put an end to this skirmish. Crush the enemy as quickly as possible. If they're demoralized, they will be less likely to waste their lives on pointless fighting. |
Earth Rumble[]
From Sokka | Toph, who would you say is the strongest in Earth Rumble after you? |
---|---|
From Blind Bandit Toph | Eh, I wouldn't know. None of them were really a challenge. |
From The Boulder | The Boulder is hurt by this comment. |
From Xin Fu | What?! Nobody underestimates Xin Fu! |
Kyoshi's early years[]
From Jianzhu | You'd ruin the Air Nomad test to make a child happy? |
---|---|
From Kelsang | It'll find its way back to where it belongs... Eventually. Maybe. |
Young Girl | My name... is... Kyoshi! |
Message from Rangi | Listen, you just have to figure out which one is the ringleader. Walk straight up to them and knock them out. The rest of them will leave you alone after that. |
From Aoma | [About Yun.] I snuck close enough to the wall to watch him train. Hoo Boy. I needed my fan that day. He's so handsome! |
From Suzu | [About Yun, responding to Aoma.] There's no way his bodyguard is going to let him anywhere near you. Stop dreaming. Besides, aren't there like... seven village boys with eyes for you? |
From Aoma | Those village boys have got nothing on Avatar Yun! |
From Kelsang | Kyoshi, stay behind me. Jianzhu... I don't know what's going on here, but I'm taking Kyoshi and we're leaving. |
From Jianzhu | Look at the two of you. What you're doing is you're coming home with me. Neither of you are in any shape to argue. |
Fifth Nation[]
From Earth Kingdom Villager | We saw their sails on the horizon at twilight... then fires on the water. I hid in a barrel... My whole village were taken that night. |
---|---|
Call of Freedom Pamphlet | Tired of toiling every day in the soil while your master gets rich off the spoils of your labor? Perhaps a life among the Fifth Nation is for you! No Avatars. No Masters. Now Accepting applications from people from every nation. |
From Taliriktug | I was nothing before I joined the Fifth Nation. Nothing. An outcast from my family, fighting for scraps. Now I'm Taliriktug! I have a new family, and a purpose among the Pirates. |
From a Sailor | It was love at first sight, seeing her climbing the gunwales with that saber in her hand. Not that she'd ever notice a lowly Boatswain like me, but the image of her is still burned in my brain, like a tattoo on my soul. |
From a Sailor | She did notice me tho. Not in the way that I'd hoped, but nonetheless. She needed benders to arm her cutter. How could I refuse what my heart demands? I was powerless to resist. |
From a Sailor | That is how I came to serve the Pirate Queen Tagaka. Hang me as a Pirate as you will. I will never forsake The Marquess of the Eastern Sea, tho it mean my life. |
Special days[]
Happy Mothers Day! | This day is dedicated to honoring the Mother of Faces and her manifold manifestations. May the Mothers be showered with blessings, in remembrance of our most revered ancestors. |
---|---|
Energy Weekend! | Fun Fact: Chi is the energy that flows through all living things in the world of Avatar and is used to bend the elements. Meditation, controlled breathing, and good posture are all ways to help a bender use chi more efficiently. |
Father's Day | Happy Father's Day to all the dads like there who strive to be like Iroh - wise, kind, and fiercely protective of their loved ones. May your day be filled with peace, love, and plenty of delicious tea! |
Summer Festival Begins! | Get ready to celebrate the Summer Festival! This exciting two-week event offers you the chance to earn exclusive Relics and items inspired by "The Beach" episode. Don't miss out on the limited-time banners for Relics and Arts, packed with amazing rewards. For more details, head over to the Newsfeed and dive into the summer fun! |
Zuko and Iroh as refugees[]
From Iroh | There are reasons each of us are born. We have to find those reasons. |
---|---|
From Zuko | I always thought the reason for my birth was to fulfil my destiny to kill the Avatar and become the Fire Lord. |
From Iroh | Zuko, is this your destiny? Or is it a destiny someone else has tried to force on you? |
From Zuko | This life, this meager living. It's beneath us. We were royals and now... now they treat us like we're nothing. Less than nothing. |
From Iroh | You must never give in to despair. Allow yourself to slip down that road and you surrender to your lowest instincts. In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself. That is the meaning of Inner Strength. |
From Zuko | Uncle... I thought a lot about what you said. It's made me realize something... I need to find my own way. |
Blue Spirit[]
From an Earth Kingdom Villager | [About the Blue Spirit.] I heard he's a demon that can melt into shadows, and that he single handedly defeated an entire army. |
---|---|
From the Shopkeeper | [Responding to the villager.] Nonsense. Nobody can do all of that. You've been paying too much attention to that old hermit's tales. |
From a Village Elder | The legends are true. I've seen him with my own eyes, leaping on the rooftops. Some say he is a man, but no man moves with such silence. He must be a spirit. |
Rebellion[]
From Sokka | They call us "Rebels"... but personally, I prefer the term "Rule-Benders." |
---|---|
From Jiang | Rebellion's a risky business... but there's profit in risk. |
The Beach[]
Mysteries of the Beach Pt. 1 | Do you have any idea what my home life was like? Growing up with six sisters who look exactly like me? It was like I didn't even have a name. I joined the circus because I was scared of spending my life as part of a matched set. At least I'm different now. |
---|---|
Mysteries of the Beach Pt. 2 | You want a teary confession about how hard my childhood was? Well it wasn't. I was a rich only child who got everything I wanted, as long as I behaved...and sat still...and didn't speak unless spoken to. My mother said I had to keep out of trouble. We had my father's political career to consider. |
Mysteries of the Beach Pt. 3 | I could sit here and complain that mom liked Zuko more than me, but I don't really care. My own mother thought I was a mother. She was right, of course, but it still hurt. |
Mysteries of the Beach Pt. 4 | For so long, I thought that if my dad accepts me, I'd be happy. I'm back home now. My dad talks to me. He even thinks I'm a HERO! Everything should be perfect, right? I should be happy now, but I'm NOT, I'm angrier than ever, and I don't know why. |
Siege of the North[]
From Iroh | Even the Fire Nation depends on the Spirit World for life. We must maintain the balance at all cost. |
---|---|
From Admiral Zhao | The Fire Nation will, for generations, tell stories of "The Great Zhao who darkened the Moon". |
From Yue | I have been touched by the Moon Spirit. Some of its life is in me. It gave me life. Maybe I can give it back. |
Events relating to the prison rig[]
From Aang | What was that huge boom? It's coming from over there! |
---|---|
From Katara | An Earthbender! He must have come from a nearby village! They've gotta have a market where we can buy something better than nuts. |
From Haru | I'm done hiding who I am. It's time to show the world what we can do. |
From Katara | Every child in my water tribe [sic] village was rocked to sleep with stories of the brave Earth Kingdom. It is the strength of your hearts that make you who you are: hearts that will remain unbroken when all rock and stone has eroded away. The time to fight back is now! Let us fight for our FREEDOM!!! |
From Fire Nation Captain | [To Juro and Goro.] Your new posts will be at the Mo Ce Sea Prison. You two are representing our colony and the Fire Nation. Make us proud. |
From Goro | Prison guard duty! That is no place for warriors of our prowess. |
From Juro | [Responding to the Fire Nation Captain.] We are honored for this opportunity to prove ourselves. P.S. Apologies, for my brother's previous message. He's just upset about no longer working with you. |
From Tyro | This place is ruthless. He is ruthless. All plans inevitably lead to a steep cost of life that we cannot afford to pay. Our best option is our only option. Survival. |
From The Warden | Reminder to all guests. Complaints, laziness, and tardiness will not be tolerated. Blankets, food, and rest are all privileges, which I can take away. - Your generous host |
The Rift[]
From Lady Tienhai | While humans falter from time to time, I know that they can learn from their mistakes... |
---|---|
From General Old Iron | The promise has been broken. I've come to do what I should have done long ago. |
Royal Procession[]
Royal Procession I | I feel bad about what the Princess did to the Captain. I know he messed up, but he always looked out for us. So what if he called them "prisoners", Iroh already seemed suspicious. |
---|---|
Royal Procession II | I can sympathize, but he ruined Princess Azula's plan. So he's banished, just be glad he's still alive on one of the colonies. |
Azula's team[]
From Ty Lee | Hi! It's been sooo long since I've seen you two. I hope you are all experiencing great health, happiness, and hugs! I want to know everything, so don't skimp on the details! With lots of love, Ty Lee <3 |
---|---|
From Mai | Hey. Life is even more unbearable in Omashu. There's nothing to do, and no one worth talking to. I'm just stuck with my family. Kill me. Sincerely, Mai |
Wen's adventures[]
From Wen | Dear, Fan. I was wondering, if you came across any of those items of interest yet? P.S. Sorry, for my constant inquiries. |
---|
Ba Sing Se[]
From the Ba Sing Se Council | Reminder to all citizens, please be aware that the outer ring is off limits to the public and only private military personnel are allowed upon the wall. |
---|---|
From Ba Sing Se citizen | To whom it may concern, I understand why the outer ring is restricted with the war going on, but I'm expecting family from outside the wall. I need to meet them there as they arrive to prevent any conflicts with their entry. Thank you for your time. |
From Grand Secretariat Long Feng | Dear citizen. There is no need for such concern, but to put your mind at ease I will be sending over some personnel to escort you. P.S. There is no war in Ba Sing Se. |
Loading screen messages[]

Heroes quotes[]
In the "Heroes" screen, clicking on a character triggered a number of quotes. The characters also occasionally talked in battles. However, some characters like Kiwaq and the Blue Spirit never had spoken voicelines.
Aang | Hey there! I'm Aang. |
---|---|
Aang | Let's go have some fun! |
Aang | I still can't believe it has been one hundred years! So much has changed... |
Aang | If you want to be a bender, you have to let go of fear. |
Aang | Will you go penguin sledding with me? |
Aang | Let's play some airball! |
Aang | Yipp yipp! |
Aang | I'm the Avatar. |
Aang | Hey there, I'm Aang! |
Aang | Let's go have some fun! |
Aang | Did you see Katara recently? ... Oh? Uh,... nothing, I just wanted to say hi. |
Aang | Hey, check this out! |
Aang | My turn! |
Aang | [Hurt.] No... I... can't... |
Aang | You made it! |
Aang | [Saddened.] I failed... |
Aang | [Saddened.] I can't believe it... we lost. |
Aang | I'm bringing you down! |
Aang | All in a day's work for the Avatar, I guess. |
Aang | Let's do this... together. |
Aang | This will be easy! |
Aang | I will defeat the Fire Lord and end the war! |
Aang | I'm just a simple monk. |
Aang | I won't give up! |
Aang | Is this all you got? |
Aang | You lost this battle! |
Aang | This can't be it... |
Aang | Let me help! |
Aang | Bet you haven't fought an airbender before! |
Aang | I won't run away again! |
Aang | Get out of here! It's me you want; leave them alone! |
Aang | Oh, I have a fun idea! |
Aang | [In the Avatar State.] I will restore balance to this world. |
Air Nomad Youth | [Embarrassed.] I wasn't napping! I was, ... eh... mediating. |
Air Nomad Youth | Check out this new airbending trick! |
Air Nomad Youth | Finished all my chores... now it's playtime! |
Azula | What? [Mockingly.] Are you going to challenge me to an Agni Kai? |
Azula | Fetch me some tea. And it better be the correct temparature, or else... |
Azula | What's the emergency? It must be pretty important, since you know how much I hate interruptions. |
Azula | [Imitating Zuko.] I must capture the Avatar to regain my honor. [Seriously.] It's ok, you can laugh. It's funny. |
Azula | Mmh? You mean I'm not good enough for you? [Mockingly.] You hurt my feelings! |
Azula | I'm Princess Azula. [Confidently.] But I'm sure you already knew that. |
Azula | It's "Princess Azula" or "Highness", understand? |
Azula | I challenge you to an Agni Kai! |
Azula | Yes! We defeated you for all time! You'll never rise from the ashes of your shaming humiliation! |
Azula | My own mother thought I was a monster... She was right, of course, but it still hurt. |
Azula | Bow... and perhaps I will let you live. |
Azula | You miscalculated. Not surprising. |
Azula | Your first mistake was believing that you had a chance. |
Azula | [Mockingly.] It's okay... Not everyone is meant for greatness. |
Azula | [Mockingly.] Look on the bright side... at least now you know your place. |
Azula | [Angrily.] "Almost" isn't good enough! |
Azula | [In shocked anger.] No! No, this can't be possible! This failure is unacceptable! Which one of you sabotaged my victory? |
Azula | Let me show you true power. |
Azula | Here's a royal example. |
Bumi | Whats the point of tests if you don't learn anything? |
Bumi | It's pretty fun messing with people! [Snorting laugh.] |
Bumi | Hmmh, have you seen my pet Flopsie? He's loves to hide. Such a playful fella. |
Bumi | It's good to see you. |
Bumi | You gotta open your brain to the possibilities. |
Bumi | Do you want some jennamite? It's delicious. |
Boqin | I hope this war ends soon. I have some hoobies I've been neglecting. |
Boqin | Eh. What a long day. It's good to get some rest. |
Boqin | I hope you're all rested, because it's time for more earthbending drills. |
Boqin | Listen up, soldiers. I've decided to cancel today's drills. Enjoy your break... responsibly. |
Dojo master | With the best defense, you cannot loose. |
Dojo master | Strategy always wins. |
Dojo master | [Frustrated.] Only the strongest survive. |
Dojo master | I'm ready! |
Earth Kingdom Soldier and Omashu Soldier | I heard the Earth King has a bear. Like, just a bear. So weird... |
Earth Kingdom Soldier and Omashu Soldier | If we could bend metal, this war would already be over! Hmmm... What if I... [Strenuous grunting.] Nope! It's impossible! |
Earth Kingdom Soldier and Omashu Soldier | Nothing can penetrate the walls of Ba Sing Se! Nothing! |
Earth Kingdom Soldier and Omashu Soldier | Omashu is a bastion of greatness! Also, our mailing system is incredibly efficient! |
Earth Kingdom Soldier and Omashu Soldier | Maybe mom was right... I should have followed my passion! |
Earth Kingdom Soldier and Omashu Soldier | King Bumi is eccentric... but in a good way! [Awkward pause.] I think. |
Earth Kingdom Soldier and Omashu Soldier | Earthbending drills are tough! |
Fifth Nation pirates and Taliriktug | Ha! Trouble is my middle name! |
Fifth Nation pirates and Taliriktug | Just point me in the direction of some loot! |
Gyatso | Very interesting move, young one! |
Gyatso | We cannot concern ourselves with what was, we must act on what is. |
Gyatso | [Happily.] Have you come... to get your butt kicked in Pai Sho? |
Haru [Earth Kingdom variant] | I will do whatever it takes to free my people! |
Haru [Earth Kingdom variant] | [Saddened.] Man, I miss mom's cooking. |
Haru [Earth Kingdom variant] | You've got guts, I give you that. |
Haru [Earth Kingdom variant] | My father once said 'You must wait for the right season to grow the right crops.' |
Haru [Prisoner variant] | At least I have my father with me... |
Iroh | Not all flowers bloom the same way – and yet... they are all beautiful. |
Iroh | Very well. But first, I must finish my roasted duck! |
Iroh | I know you're not supposed to cry over spilled tea. But it's... just so sad. |
Iroh | More tea please. |
Iroh | Failure is only that if you don't learn from it. If you do, it become a lesson. |
Iroh | Ah. There it is. My lotus tile. |
Iroh | Care for a bowl of noodles? |
Jeong Jeong | Are you ready to listen and learn? |
Jeong Jeong | Fire is alive! It breathes, it grows. |
Jeong Jeong | Feel the heat of the sun! It is the greatest source of fire, yet it is in complete balance with nature! |
Jeong Jeong | Without a bender, the rock will not throw itself. |
Jiang | You got a good set of travel companions. I hope you appreciate that! |
Jiang | Hey, there! Got a job for the crew? |
Jiang | I'm not ashamed of my upbringing! It made me strong! |
Jiang | The flying wolfbat has been in my family for generations. And I hope it stays that way! |
Jiang | My crew is not much to look at, but they're dedicated. I will do what I must to keep them free. |
Jianzhu | I'll keep doing what I must to keep the Earth Kingdom from destroying itself. |
Jianzhu | Kuruk and I became friends over Pai Sho, and I found his successor over Pai Sho. It was... destiny. |
Jianzhu | The Yellow Necks were scum of the lowest order...even among daofei. |
Jianzhu | I am of the Gan Jin tribe, but my origins were humble. I had to earn everything I have now. |
Katara | Need some help? |
Katara | Please don't tell me Sokka did get two fishhooks stuck in his thumbs again! |
Katara | Did you need something? |
Katara | I don't do emotional speeches about hope all the time! I can be fun too! |
Katara | I miss Gran-Gran. I hope she's doing ok. |
Katara | [Annoyed.] Argh. Sokka told me a bad joke, and now it's stuck in my head. |
Katara | Aang is such a fun kid. It's weird... you forget he’s the Avatar sometimes. |
Kelsang | Always happy to be of service! |
Kelsang | Good choice! |
Kelsang | Let's make a fruit pie! This time for eating, not throwing! [Laughing.] |
Kelsang | How can I help, friend? |
Kyoshi [Avatar variant] | Avatar Yangchen isn't here right now. I am. |
Kyoshi [Avatar variant] | I'll help the four nations... even if they don't want it. |
Kyoshi [Avatar variant] | Only cowards bully the weak. |
Kyoshi [Avatar variant] | What exactly does "going full Kyoshi" mean? |
Kyoshi [Servant variant] | Yun and Rangi. My friends! I will keep them safe above all else! |
Kyoshi [Servant variant] | [Annoyed.] No, I'm not part spirit. I'm just tall. |
Kyoshi [Servant variant] | I'm pretty sure Jianzhu wouldn't have hired me without Kelsang twisting his arm... |
Kyoshi [Servant variant] | [Annoyed.] Ah! I hate that gunk Aunt Mui gets to put on my face! |
Kyoshi [Servant variant] | [In a mockingly high-pitched tone.] You should make an honest living, toiling under sun, but never in the slightest look like it. [Scoffs.] Ridiculous. |
Kyoshi [Servant variant] | I hope I can one day repay Kelsang for raising me – the unwanted child of a stranger. |
Kyoshi Warrior | [Frustrated.] Aw. I wish I was as tall as Kyoshi. |
Kyoshi Warrior | Ready to spar? |
Kyoshi Warrior | You want to go swimming with the unagi? [Scoffs.] Pfff, I'm not that crazy! |
Kyoshi Warrior | I assure you. my My equipment is well taken care of. |
Long Feng | Ba Sing Se remains a peaceful, orderly utopia... the last one on earth. |
Long Feng | The Dai Li were actually created and trained by Avatar Kyoshi. Which is why they're so... effective. |
Long Feng | [Sighs.] What now? |
Long Feng | His majesty should not sully his hands with day-to-day affairs. Thus, it is my duty to oversee such matters. |
Long Feng | The Earth King has invited you to Lake Laogai. |
Long Feng | I had to work hard to become what I'm today. Long Feng, the Grand Secretariat! |
Mai | Finally! It's so boring and I got nothing to do. |
Mai | I tolerate you. I hope you can appreciate what this means, coming from me. |
Mai | [Annoyed.] Don't you have anything better to do? |
Mai | [Annoyed.] Eh. What do you want now? |
Masaru | We live to serve our great nation. |
Masked Soldier and Imperial Soldier | We live to serve our great nation! |
Masked Soldier and Imperial Soldier | Ah... this helmet gets so hot sometimes! I wish they let us take it off some more. |
Masked Soldier and Imperial Soldier | [Sniffs.] I really need to clean this helmet more. |
Mongke | Enough stalling! |
Pakku | Some can move water around, but don't really feel its push and pull. |
Pakku | Some of my students have the ferocity and grace of an owl wolf, while others... are like penguin otters. |
Pakku | [Grimly.] Its past sunrise, you're late. |
Pakku | [Sighs.]. Time for a break. Oh, you're here too. [More sighs.] peachy. |
Rangi | It's my honor and privilege to guard the Avatar! |
Rangi | [Annoyed.] There you are! Where have you been? |
Rangi | [Frustrated.] Ah... what has the Avatar done now? |
Rangi | Every action an avatar makes is meaningful. Even if it is unintentional. |
Rangi | Being the Avatar's bodyguard is, uh... a great honor. |
Suki | What's up? |
Suki | I grew up with the unagi as my neighbor. There isn't much to scare me. |
Suki | Don't worry! I will protect you. |
Suki | You could say I'm a "fan" of Kyoshi! [Laughing.] Sorry, Sokka told me to say that. |
Suki | Have you seen Sokka around? |
Suki | If you want me to show you some fighting moves, just ask. But expect to get your butt kicked. |
Suki | We fight with bravery and honor! |
Sokka | You just love to take me out of my comfort zone, don't you? |
Sokka | I can be ready in two minutes! |
Sokka | [Happily.] Mmmh... meat! |
Sokka | Not to brag... but I'm the best warrior in my village. Sooo... yeah, kind of a big deal. |
Sokka | I'm just a simple guy, with simple needs. |
Sokka | Time to hit the road! |
Tagaka | Some advice: Don't try to trick a veteran without a drink and some mates to back you up. |
Tagaka | Funny story. A northern "brother" once told me to focus on what waterbending women are good at. So I sent him to the dark of the ocean. |
Tagaka | But when his ship hit the first bump in the blue, it went belly-up! My uncle was so red in the face, you would think he was a fire-tosser! [Laughing.] |
Tagaka | Take your time. I'm in no hurry. |
Tagaka | We pirates have a flair for the dramatic. Perhaps we were all actors in another life. |
Tagaka | The Fifth Nation welcomes all. But best do your part or else... |
The Boulder | Mmh. The Boulder can beat the Blind Bandit any day! |
The Boulder | Friendship is a greater foundation than any bedrock! |
The Boulder | It's The Boulder, not The Pebble. Saying such things hurts The Boulder's feelings. |
The Boulder | Even the smallest grain of dirt can some day... become a boulder! |
The Boulder | The Boulder is happy to show you some moves! |
The Boulder | Youuuu... shall be The Boulder's tag-team partner! Let's begin training! |
Toph | Let's go have some fun! |
Toph | I used to have a stuffed badgermole toy. It was dity, and smelly, and... man, do I miss it. |
Toph | Need any more butts whooped? |
Toph | Yeah, let's break some rules! |

Character spotlights[]
The character spotlights are published on the Avatar: Generations Youtube page.
Dojo master | Welcome to the first character spotlight for Avatar: Generations. After completing a series of challenges in the Patola Mountain Passage, Team Avatar comes face-to-face with a highly skilled weapon master running a makeshift dojo. Now, through the Blade of the Master event, this Avatar: Generations original character is available for summoning. The dojo master is a five-star mind and special hero. Their high base speed and powerful offensive and defensive capabilities make them a flexible bruiser and they'll often be the first to strike in combat, kicking things off in your favor. Their basic attack "Mountain Strike" deals empowered damage to one enemy, while healing the dojo master for 30% of the damage dealt. Their advanced attack, "Furious Steps through the Forest", deals three hits of focus damage to all enemies and grants the dojo master increased attack power for two turns. The passive ability of the dojo master, "The Path of Strength", reduces damage taken from non-combo attacks by 30% and also increases their turnbar by 30% whenever they defeat an enemy which often allows for a quick follow-up attack. The dojo master is a valuable hero in any position in the field of battle. Depending on your playstyle, you can equip the dojo master in a variety of ways. We recommend a full offense, "Last Man Standing" build or leaning into the character's already powerful sustain with rejuvenation arts for extra life steal. During the "Blade of the Master" event, you can earn this incredibly powerful hero just by logging in on seven different days over the course of the event. Thanks for watching. I hope you rise to the challenges of the dojo master and that you make this valuable hero a part of your team. |

Avatar Aang | Welcome to an Avatar: Generations character spotlight, where today we will be featuring Avatar Aang. Fans will recognize Aang's unique look from season three of The Last Airbender shortly before facing Fire Lord Ozai. At that time, with all four elements at his command but unable to enter the Avatar State, Aang relied on the bonds with his allies to give him the strength he needed to face the Fire Lord and save the world. Avatar Aang is an Air and Peace hero. Although capable of bending all four elements, he begins combat with just air and fire skills, and gains access to earth and water abilities through successful collaboration with his allies, where he provides powerful defense and attack buffs. Avatar Aang's passive ability, "Eternal Bonds", allows him to gain one Bond whenever he's a Linker or an Ender in a combo. When these Bonds are present, Aang's abilities apply additional buffs to his allies. Once Aang has accumulated three Bonds, he gains an additional turn with his choice of a waterbending attack or an earthbending attack that inflict their elemental debuff for two turns. Avatar Aang's basic attack, "Whirling Strike", deals airbending damage to one opponent; when a Bond is present, it also grants an immunity buff to allies for one turn. Avatar Aang's advanced attack, "Flame Streak", inflicts firebending damage on all enemies, and when a Bond is present, provides a powerful attack buff to allies. There are very few firebending attacks currently in the game that will effect all enemies, which makes Aang's advanced skill particularly valuable. Also, the immunity buff that he grants through his Bonds, although it doesn't remove existing effects, will prevent others from accumulating, which is particularly important when facing opponents such as the unagi. For equipment arts, we recommend an offensive build to capitalize on the high-damage scaling of Avatar Aang's earth and water attacks. Alternatively, you could build with an emphasis on speed to maximize the amount of buffs Avatar Aang is able to provide through his Bonds. Avatar Aang is available for summoning during the "Festival of Peace" event using Peace/Chaos summoning tickets. I hope that you're able to make Avatar Aang a part of your team, and that together, you're able to face and defeat your greatest opponents. |
Pakku | Welcome to an Avatar: Generations character spotlight featuring Bending Master Pakku. Pakku is a waterbending master from the Northern Water Tribe; outwardly cold, strict, and big on tradition, he still manages to show his caring side, and bravely fights for the people of his nation. Pakku is a Water and Offense-type hero. In battle, Pakku assumes the role of an offensive utility unit, making heavy use of Freeze and critical strikes to lock down and punish his opponents. Pakku's basic attack, "Critical Instructor", deals bending damage to one enemy. If this attack lands as a critical strike, additional damage is then dealt to each other enemy. Pakku's advanced attack, "Icy Exterior", deals damage to all enemies. It has a 50% chance to freeze the enemy with the highest speed, and if the attack lands as a critical strike, an additional 25% chance to freeze the enemy with the lowest speed. Pakku's passive ability, "Disciplines of the North", grants him a 5% increased critical strike chance for one turn for each debuff he has at the start of his turn. Pakku is a great backline damage dealer; he has naturally higher accuracy, as well as critical rate and damage. Placing Pakku in the right slot reduces the cooldown of his advanced ability, which could serve you well in a shorter battle, but does leave him exposed. We highly recommend lightning arts for Pakku, as the enhanced crit rate will help trigger the extra effects on both of his abilities. You could also equip war arts if you need more steady damage output. Pakku is regularly available for summoning; however, during the "Disciplines of the Water Tribe" event, your chances of summoning him have been greatly increased. Take the time to learn from the bending master; under his stern guidance, your team can overcome any obstacle in your path. |
Bumi | Avatar: Generations is excited to announce the arrival of our newest summonable hero: Trial Boss Bumi. Upon arriving in Omashu, Team Avatar encounters a seemingly crazy king, and his adorable pet. After passing the king's trials, they learn that his true identity is not as mysterious as they once thought. Trial Boss Bumi is a HP damage scaling bruiser that utilizes positive, negative, and neutral states, or jings, to grow his power and creatively defeat his opponents. Bumi's basic skill, "Positive Jing", deals earthbending damage to one enemy, and has a 35% chance to increase the rank of earth element effects on the enemy by one. As with all of Bumi's abilities, damage scales based on his maximum hit points. Bumi's advanced skill, "Negative Jing", deals earthbending damage to all enemies, and has a 35% chance to inflict Imbalanced State on each enemy for two turns. Bumi's passive skill, "Neutral Jing", exchanges 25% of his turn bar with a random enemy, and also grants him access to new skills for two turns when he inflicts a negative state on an enemy, or when he is in a negative state at the end of his turn. These new skills include both a basic and advanced attack. The basic attack, "Mad Genius", deals three hits of bending damage to one enemy, and increases Bumi's accuracy for one turn; and the advanced attack, "The Strongest", deals knockback damage to all enemies, and increases attack power for one turn. Bumi's skill masteries apply powerful stacking effects, with Levels 3 and 4 greatly increasing Bumi's damage potential in longer battles. Trial Boss Bumi is an amazingly tanky, frontline hero with incredible damage scaling. Bumi is also an excellent for the right slot, as it provides more opportunities to trigger his neutral jing. Bumi's extra skills are designed so that players can get a different benefit by using them in a different order. If players use the basic followed by the advanced, they will greatly increase the chance of landing a knockback damage effect. Alternatively, if they use the advanced followed by the basic, they will deal more damage to a single target. For equipment arts, we recommend a full maximum hit point build to fully take advantage of Bumi's tankiness and damage scaling. Alternatively, you could equip a counter set to take advantage of Bumi's basic attack, which increases the level of earth element effects on the target. Trial Boss Bumi is available during the "King of Omashu" event. Thanks for watching. I hope you pass the trials of King Bumi, and you're able to make this powerful hero a part of your team. I'm Andrew, may your cabbages always be ripe. |
Kiwaq | Welcome to an Avatar: Generations character spotlight on our new original character, Pirate Captain Kiwaq. Kiwaq has always been a criminal, whether it was helping her family pull of cons or simply stealing food to get by. These crimes were just a way of life. She grew up with stories that she was descended from the infamous Fifth Nation, but can say for sure if it was true? But what is true, is that if Kiwaq wants something, it's only a matter of time until she gets it, either through subterfuge or brute force. Kiwaq is a scrappy brawler that significantly ramps up in strength and tactical opportunities, the longer she stays in the fight. Her basic skill, "Ice Gauntlet", deals impact damage to one enemy. She also gains evasion for one turn if the "Shadow Tide" effect is active. Kiwaq has the advanced skill "Frozen Barrage" which deals one to three hits of slicing damage to each enemy. She also deceases the turnbar of each enemy by 20% and gains an additional turn herself when the "Shadow Tide" effect is active. Her passive ability, "Arctic Shadow", is triggered when she reaches one hit point. She then disappears and is replaced with an ice clone which lasts for one turn or five dodged attacks and recovers her to full health. Upon returning, Kiwaq has a 2% increase to a random offensive stat for each character turn which occurred while the ice clone was active. She also gains the "Shadow Tide" effect for the duration of the battle, increasing offensive stats and speed by 30%, but taking 20% additional damage. The skill mastery Kiwaq unlocks are distinct yet powerful extra effects that add to her utility and amplify her strength in battle. Kiwaq is a great frontline unit thanks to her survivability. This also makes her great against opponents such as the unagi which have a large initial burst of damage. For equipment arts we recommend prioritizing accuracy while building a counter set. This allows Kiwaq to consistently apply her debuffs and focus on her role as a disruptor in the early stages of combat. Alternatively, you could equip purely for attack power and take advantage of how much her damage ramps up over the course of a battle. Pirate Captain Kiwaq is available during the "Frozen Legacy Powerful Opponent" event. You can earn this amazing waterbender just by logging in on seven different days over the course of the event. Thanks for watching. I hope this master of both brute force and subterfuge becomes a part of your team - or, perhaps it is us who will be joining her crew. I'm Andrew, and I'll see you on the seas. |
Gyatso | Welcome to an Avatar: Generations character spotlight on one of the most beloved characters in the entire Avatar universe: the airbending master, Gyatso. Gyatso was Aang's close friend and airbending master prior to the Hundred Year War. He was cheerful and mischievious, never missing an opportunity to prank his fellow elders to lift Aang's spirits, and teach him a valuable lesson at the same time. In battle, Gyatso is playful and elusive, featuring highly effective, but also highly variable, utility to catch his opponents off-guard and disrupt their plans. Gyatso's basic ability, "Guiding Wind", deals counterforce damage to all enemies, which removes buffs, and also heals Gyatso for each buff removed in this way. Gyatso's advanced ability, "Delicious Prank", tosses delicious Air Nomad fruit pies at opponents, dealing disruptive damage to four random enemies, which will inflict one of four possible debuffs while increasing the turn bar of allies by 15%. Gyatso's passive ability, "The Freedom of Fun", grants Gyatso Evasion for one turn when he receives a critical hit. It also grants him 10% increased turn bar when he receives a weak hit. Gyatso's skill masteries play into his key strengths of speed and disruption, particularly when working with other airbenders. Gyatso is an early fast disruptor, and perfect for setting up a Cleave team, or a team that's trying to defeat their opponent in one turn. With his high base speed, the right build can almost always guarantee that Gyatso is the first to strike in any battle, allowing him to immediately land his powerful advanced disruption skill. We recommend a full speed build for Gyatso so he can disrupt the enemy as quickly and as frequently as possible. Alternatively, you could build Gyatso more tanky as he's very likely to be targeted early. Gyatso is regularly available for summoning; however, during the "Four Nations - Air" event, your chances of summoning him have been greatly increased. Thanks for watching. Gyatso's kindness and wisdom are welcome additions to any team, and in battle, he's sure to keep your opponents occu-pied. I'm Andrew, and I'll see you in the air temple. |
Zuko | Today, we are very excited to share with you an Avatar: Generations character spotlight on one of our most highly anticipated characters yet: Dragon Dancer Zuko. Based on the third and final season of The Last Airbender, Zuko has finally joined Team Avatar, and traveled along with Aang to the ancient Sun Warriors' temple where he rediscovers firebending with the help of dragons Ran and Shaw. In battle, Dragon Dancer Zuko is an effective damage dealer and Focus generator, whose skills are further empowered when working with air element allies. Zuko's passive ability, "Dance of the Dragon", grants him the Inner Flame buff at the start of battle for one turn, which increases his damage by 35%; it also grants 20 Focus when this buff is consumed by a skill. The buff is reapplied for one turn when Zuko initiates a combo attack. Zuko's basic ability, "Rekindled Ambition", deals bending damage to one enemy; if Zuko has the Inner Flame buff, this skill will consume it and increase the rank of one fire element on the target to Rank 3 before dealing damage. Zuko's advanced ability, "Consuming Flame", deals firebending damage to one enemy and ignores resistance; if Zuko has the Inner Flame buff, this skill will consume it, and grant Zuko an extra turn. Zuko's skill masteries provide him with some much needed durability, as well as further enhancing his synergy with his airbending allies. Zuko's high-base speed and extra Focus generation make him a great choice for a combo-centered or ultimate rush style team. He's capable of high Burst damage, and ideally used as a backline carry, although with a tankier build, he could be used in the left or right slot as a support, focusing on ranking up fire elemental effects on the enemy team. We recommend building a counter set to take advantage of the 35% increased damage Zuko receives while the Inner Flame buff is active. Alternatively, you could build for speed to maximize Focus generation and combo-starting opportunities. Dragon Dancer Zuko is available during the "Festival of Chaos". Thanks for watching. I hope this hero dances his way onto your team, and that your attempts to acquire him don't drag-on. I'm Andrew, and I'll see you at the Festival of Chaos. |
Boqin | Avatar: Generations is pleased to announce the arrival of Captain Boqin. The uncompromising Captain Boqin commands the Earth Kingdom military outpost of Shen Guan. Though his confidence allows him to stand firmly against all odds, he fails to recognize the importance of accepting help from outsiders when he needs it. In battle, Captain Boqin is a frontline leader who inspires his allies, while chipping away at his enemies' buffs, Focus, and other defenses over time. Boqin's basic ability, "Reckless Erosion", deals Fearless damage to one enemy, and always lands as a Crushing hit. It also has a 35% chance to inflict Captured State on the enemy for one turn. Boqin's advanced ability, "Dirt Off Your Shoulder", removes one elemental debuff from each ally and grants Boqin increased resistance and Barrier for one turn. Boqin's passive ability, "Might of a Mountain", allows him to enter a Fortified Stance for one turn at the start of every battle, and after every action if he does not have a Rank 2 or higher elemental debuff. Fortified Stance causes every attack against Boqin to land as a weak hit. Boqin's skill masteries not only boost the damage of his allies when he's in the frontline, they also provide him with incredible sustain and defensive abilities. Captain Boqin is very tough to take down through conventional skill damage, and requires high accuracy to defeat effectively. He's a great counter to an element-focused team, and although he's desirable in the front slot, he could be used in the right slot to focus more on removing the elemental debuffs from his allies. We recommend a resistance or immunity set to maximize the time Boqin can protect the backline. You could select arts for hit points when you reach Boqin's higher levels of skill mastery. Captain Boqin is available during the "Defensive Position Powerful Warrior" event. You can earn this stalwart hero just by logging in on seven different days over the course of the event. Thanks for watching. Enlist the services of the unwavering Captain Boqin; when you do, try not to make him mad. I'm Andrew, and I'll see you on the field. |
Toph | Welcome to an Avatar: Generations character spotlight on the legend herself: Toph. Toph is the tough-as-nails, no-nonsense earthbending prodigy of the Beifong family. Her powerful control of earthbending allows her to use it in ways that other earthbenders simply can't. On the battlefield, Toph is able to predict and avoid attacks from her opponents, while skillfully manipulating and knocking them around as she pleases. Toph's basic ability, "Fault Line,, deals Impairing Damage to one enemy and any backline opponents; targets in the backline also take increased damage. Toph's advanced ability, "Tectonic Rift", deals Knockdown Damage to all enemies; Toph also steals 10% turn bar from each enemy that's hit. Toph's passive ability, "Seismic Sense", allows her to dodge one enemy's attack, and increase her turn bar by 5% once per turn with a two turn cooldown. This ability cannot dodge air element attacks. Toph's skill masteries increase the magnitude of her "Seismic Sense", causing devastating repercussions to anyone that attacks her. Toph is an aggressive utility unit that takes lots of turns, and can neutralize the opponent's attacks against her and her team whilst dishing out tons of AOE damage. We recommend destruction arts to help Toph's hits land hard. Alternatively, you could build a rebellion set for the counterattacks and sustained DPS. Toph is regularly available for summoning; however, during the "Four Nations - Earth" event, your chances of summoning her have greatly increased. Thanks for watching. I hope you're able to convince Toph to join your team; I don't want the event to get Toph on the wrong foot. I'm Andrew, and I'll see you in the Earth Kingdom. |
Rangi | Avatar: Generations is pleased to announce the arrival of another beloved character, this time from The Rise of Kyoshi series. Welcome, Rangi. Rangi is a member of the prestigious Sei'naka clan, and a highly trained firebending instructor and soldier. After realizing Kyoshi was the true Avatar, Rangi and Kyoshi fled to the inner Earth Kingdom where Rangi became Kyoshi's firebending instructor, closest companion, and lover. In battle, Rangi is an inferno of single-target damage, capable of disintegrating some of the toughest enemies on the field. Rangi's basic ability, "Flashpoint", deals explosive damage to one enemy, and this attack cannot land as a Weak Hit. Rangi's advanced ability, "Flame of Judgment", deals three hits of firebending damage to one enemy, and this attack cannot land as a Weak Hit. Damage dealt is also increased by 20% if the target is in the Frontline, and additionally, Rangi enters a Fury State for one turn. Rangi's passive ability, "Burning Discipline", increases her damage by 15% for one turn whenever she is granted a damage-increasing effect. Rangi's skill masteries increase the power of her Fury State, increasing Focus and buffing allies; however, Level 4 doubles her Passive Damage Increase, changing it from 15% to 30% whenever she is granted a damage-increasing effect. Rangi is a high-damage, single-target nuker who can instantly create Rank 2 fire debuffs with her advanced skill. She works extremely well supporting and being supported by Kyoshi. We recommend a full War or Deserter art set to maximize single-target obliteration; alternatively, the Razor Reef set is an excellent choice for the guaranteed crit. Rangi is available during "The Rise of Kyoshi" event. Thanks for watching. Rangi is a great addition to any roster, and her firebending attacks are incredible to watch. I guess you say they're her "claim to flame." I'm Andrew, and I'll see you in the Yokoya peninsula. |
Avatar Kyoshi | Welcome to an Avatar: Generations character spotlight on one of the most powerful and influential Avatars in history: Avatar Kyoshi. Kyoshi is a formidable force; her bending skills and unyielding commitment to justice allowed her to defeat her enemies and bring about an era of unprecedented peace. Kyoshi spares no mercy in battle, chaining together elements and unleashing Avatar-level destruction on those who dare to oppose her or seek to harm her allies. Kyoshi's basic ability, "Fracture", deals Force Damage to one enemy and triggers a hidden skill, "Aftershock", if it removes any buff. Kyoshi's advanced ability, "Dust Up", deals two hits of Disruptive Damage to one enemy, and triggers a hidden skill called "Overwhelming Wind" if two or more buffs are present on the enemy. Kyoshi's passive ability, "Vengeance!", enters her into a Vengeance State for one turn whenever an ally is attacked, with a one turn cooldown. This increases Kyoshi's damage, and gives her a chance to Counterattack whenever an ally is attacked. Kyoshi's skill masteries enhance the ability of her Vengeance State to increase not just Kyoshi's damage, but the entire team's damage, while preventing the buildup of negative Elemental Effects. Avatar Kyoshi can work well as a frontline or utility slot bruiser. She is tanky, and can still output reasonable damage even if focused on stripping buffs from the enemy team. We recommend a full Unity set, as defense greatly bolsters Kyoshi's damage. Alternatively, you could build rebellion arts for the buff-stripping utility and extra damage if her hidden skill is triggered. Avatar Kyoshi is available during the "Rise of Kyoshi" event. Kyoshi proved herself to be a courageous and decisive leader, willing to make difficult choices for the greater good. For the greater good of your team, I recommend you go Kyo-see if you can summon her. I'm Andrew, and I'll see you at Avatar mansion. |
Tagaka | Welcome to an Avatar: Generations character spotlight on the cunning and ruthless Pirate Queen Tagaka. tagaka commands a formidable fleet and gained infamy as a scourge to the Earth Kingdom. Despite her notorious reputation, Tagaka strategically conceals her most potent assets and carefully selecting when and where to strike. In battle, Tagaka displays supreme command of the water element, using it to both damage and ensnare her opponents. Followers she deems worthy and loyal gain some of the benefits she reaps during these attacks. Tagaka's basic ability, "Glacial Wave", deals splash damage to all enemies. This attack ignores damage reduction effects and Tagaka gains a random defensive buff for each pirate faction ally on her team. Tagaka's advanced ability, "Marquess of the Sea", deals three hits of fierce damage to all enemies with a 35 chance to increase the rank of water element effects for each hit. Tagaka also gains random offensive buffs for each rebel faction ally on her team which lasts two turns. Tagaka's passive ability, "Shared Spoils", grants skill nullify to all allies when an enemy is inflicted with a rank 3 water element. Tagaka's skill masteries exemplify why she is the master tactician, allowing her to heal and buff pirate and rebel faction allies with her basic ability. Tagaka greatly empowers pirate and rebel teams. She plays well in the back line for AOE cleave or in the utility slot as a bruiser. Consider pairing her with Water Tribe Sokka, as he provides buffs to rebels that she does not already grant. We recommend a full rebellion set to trigger as many basic attacks as possible. Alternatively, you could equip legacy arts for the early protection against faster de-buffers. Pirate Queen Tagaka is available during the "Marquess of the Sea" event. Tagaka faces numerous challenges and obstacles, but she never lets them define her or limit her potential. If you haven't already added this powerful waterbender to your team, you to-gotta go get her. Thanks for watching. I'm Andrew, and I'll see you on the seas. |
Taliriktug | Avatar: Generations cautiously welcomes another member of the Fifth Nation and a new original character: The unflinching Taliriktug. Taliriktug strikes fear into the hearts of his opponents with a physical style reminiscent of a seasoned brawler. He's a warrior who demands respect, and not one to be crossed without consequences. Taliriktug stands strong, weathering the storm before striking back. His trademark covering stance is a formidable defense that few have been able to break through, leaving those who try in a hailstorm of pain. Taliriktug's basic ability, "Hailstorm Hook", deals resilient damage to one enemy. Additional waterbending damage is dealt to all enemies, based on his defense if his covering stance is active. Taliriktug's advanced ability, "Glacial Cover", deceases the rank of elemental debuffs on allies by one and increases his crit chance for one turn. Taliriktug also enters a covering stance for one turn. Taliriktug's passive ability, "Floe Reversal", removes all water elements from his with a 35 chance to inflict water elements on attacking enemies for two turns whenever he receives a critical hit. He also gains a 35 percent chance to attack the enemy that just attacked him if covering stance is active. His skill masteries provide both permanent and reactive buffs that further boost his already powerful sustain. Whether on the frontlines or the sidelines, Taliriktug's defensive skills are unmatched and his ability to help his team recover against enemies that focus on elemental debuffs is a game changer. He's particularly good at turning the tide against other waterbenders. We recommend a full defense build, as this increases Taliriktug's durability and defensive damage scaling when entering covering stance. Alternatively, you could build immunity to protect against speedy disablers who might look to remove this advantage. Taliriktug is available during the "Might of the Fifth Nation" event. Thanks for watching. The Fifth Nation grows stronger with the addition of Taliriktug's powerful waterbending and I think adding a pirate of his caliber to your team is a "plunderful" idea. I'm Andrew, and see you back on the seas. |
Yun | Welcome to an Avatar: Generations showcase on the talented, charismatic, and — don't forget — handsome Avatar Yun. Yun, a young earthbender, was chosen as the Avatar and entrusted with the great responsibility of keeping the world in harmony; yet, as he embarks on his quest, he begins to question whether he's truly capable of bearing the immense burden that comes with the Avatar's role. In battle, Yun is a reliable ally able to buff and support those around him while contributing meaningful damage, particularly to opponents inflicted with debuffs. Yun's basic ability, "Cunning Charge", deals knockback damage to one enemy and decreases their turn bar by 20%. "Cunning Charge" also deals additional damage is the enemy is debuffed. Yun's advanced ability, "Adept Maneuver", deals two hits of earthbending damage to a single target and inflicts restrict. Yun then has a 35% chance to gain an extra turn. Yun's passive ability, "Defender of Four Nations", grants a barrier to each ally for one turn whenever an opponent uses an attack that hits all allies at once. Yun's attack is increased by 15% for one turn for each barrier granted in this way. Yun's skill masteries are both tactical and powerful. Mastery Level 2 allows Yun to be played in the left region slot and share heels with the rest of his team. Mastery Level 3 allows him to join a debuff centric team and build exclusively for damage and potentially have all of his attacks land as critical hits. Yun is a strong, anti-cleve support whose damage potential increases when partnered with debuff inflicting, and his advanced skill can be a nice counter to Fire Nation Iroh's passive turn bar steal. We recommend full rebellion arts to allow Yun to push back opponents and deal addition damage. Alternatively, you could build rejuvenation or other lifesteal to lean into his innate tankiness. Avatar Yun is available during the "Lost Avatar" event. I hope you choose to join forces with Yun and that you don't miss out on this Yun-ique opportunity. Thanks for watching. I'm Andrew and I'll see you in the mountains. |
Kelsang | Avatar: Generations warmly welcomes the kind-hearted, peace-loving Air Nomad Kelsang. Recognized for his gentle nature, Kelsang was a prominent Air Nomad who served as a wise and compassionate master airbender and guided Avatar Yun. Throughout Kyoshi's upbringing, he acted as a surrogate father for her and provided a comforting presence. During battle, Kelsang defends his team with the strength of a master airbender, keeping his allies resilient and shutting down the offense of their opponents. Kelsang's basic ability, "Sweeping Storm", deals storm damage to all enemies with a 50% chance to inflict knockdown on the enemy with the lowest speed. It also increases the turn bar of allies by 5% for each enemy in a knockdown state. Kelsang's advanced ability "Living Typhoon", surrounds his team with a giant typhoon which removes negative effects from his allies and enters him into a guardian stance for one turn. This skill then becomes the skill "Gale Force" for one attack. "Gale Force" deals vital damage to a single target and the target's advanced skill is then disabled until Kelsang is defeated in battle. This attacks ignores the defensive stat of the target and the damage dealt is also increased based on Kelsang's defense. Kelsang's "Enlightened Embrace" passively boosts ally attack power and crit rate by 5% and his own defense by 10% for one turn when an ally is attacked while his guardian stance is active. Kelsang's skill masteries bolster the supportive power of his guardian stance and provide even more benefits when working with "Team Kyoshi" faction allies. Kelsang is a mighty tank that can mitigate damage for his team and control the enemy with airbending. It's worth noting that with mastery level 4 and in the cooldown slot, Kelsang can use "Living Typhoon" every two turns. We recommend a full knowledge art set to allow Kelsang to get his damage mitigation rolling and avoid negative effects. Alternatively, you could build full justice arts for his defense which increases his tankiness as well as his damage output. Kelsang is available during the "Broken Bonds" peace and chaos event. Thanks for watching. Kelsang wields tremendous power as an airbender, but that power is tempered by his kindness and peaceful nature. His interactions with Kyoshi are sure to leave a kel-sang in your heart. I'm Andrew, and I'll see you in the skies. |
Jianzhu | Avatar: Generations welcomes the powerful and influential Jianzhu, also known as "The Architect". Jianzhu is a powerful earthbender, a sage, and a grand strategist who is often seen as ruthless and uncompromising. He seeks to maintain order in the Earth Kingdom and drive Yun to become a well-trained Avatar. In battle, Jianzhu is a master manipulator, able to redirect any attacks against his opponents to their vulnerable backline and leave them scrambling to find a defense. Jianzhu's basic ability, "Unseen Influence", deals wounding damage to one target and inflicts stun if the target has immunity, tenacity or skill nullifier. Those effects are also removed. This attack cannot be countered and is guaranteed to land as a critical hit. Jianzhu's advanced ability, "Locus of Control", deals nature damage to all enemies. Targets at the front or sidelines are inflicted with misdirect, a debuff which lowers defense and deals additional penetrating damage to the backline whenever the inflicted hero is attacked. This attack cannot be countered and is guaranteed to land as a critical hit. Jianzhu's passive ability, "Grand Design", has a 50 percent chance of eliminating a negative effect on him and also causing a random negative state on an enemy whenever he is struck with a critical attack. Jianzhu's skill masteries add serious consequences for any hero that dares to land a critical hit against him, even allowing him to escape death itself. Jianzhu excels at taking out backline targets and can effectively counter characters that rely on immunity or the advantages of tenacity and skill nullify effects. We recommend full destruction arts to further boost the incredible damage potential of Jianzhu's guaranteed critical hits. Alternatively, you could equip deserter arts to help ensure Jianzhu's survival against cleave teams. Jianzhu is available during the "Broken Bonds" peace and chaos event. Despite being cautious about his motivations, I hope you decide to bring the Architect onto your team and that his skills of misdirection help you to gen-juke your opponents' attacks. I am Andrew and I'll see you in Avatar Mansion. Thanks for watching. |
Blue Spirit | Welcome to an Avatar: Generations character spotlight on the mysterious and elusive Blue Spirit. While some view the Blue Spirit as a myth, the military of the Fire Nation recognizes him as a formidable threat. Wielding his twin broadswords, he emerges without warning and disrupts their operations. In battle, the Blue Spirit is an elusive damage dealer, able to vanish into the shadows and cut through opponents' defenses with masterful skill. The Blue Spirit's basic ability, "Dual Blades", deals four hits of fierce damage to one enemy, tearing through high defense targets and healing the Blue Spirit for five percent of max hit points. This attack cannot be countered and cannot land as a weak hit. The Blue Spirit's advanced ability, "Vanishing Strike", deals two hits of spirit damage to all enemies with a 50 percent chance for the Blue Spirit to enter a "vanish" state for one turn. This attack also cannot be countered and cannot land as a weak hit. The Blue Spirit's passive skill, "Sharpened Edge", increases his speed and attack by five percent for one turn when not in a "vanish" state at the start of every character's turn. On the battlefield, the Blue Spirit is a menancing presence, but what truly instills terror in his enemies is at level 4, when he emerges from the shadows, adopting "fearsome" stance and lowering the defense of all enemies by 15 percent. The Blue Spirit's primary role is high-speed nuker, capable of dealing significant damage to targets while using "sustain" or "vanishing" to keep himself safe. Due to the Blue Spirit's balance stats, there are multiple viable approaches to building this character. We recommend focusing on lightning arts to enhance his ability to unleash devastating critical strikes. Alternatively, you could opt for rejuvenation art build emphasizing the restoration of his hit points and building on his basic attack. The Blue Spirit is available during the "Mask of the Rebel" limited hero event. The legend of the Blue Spirit continues to spread and hopefully he makes it all the way to your team. The effectivness and precision of this hero's attacks are a blu-tiful thing. Thanks for watching. I'm Andrew and I'll see you in the shadows. |
Pirate Captain Jiang | Pirate Captain Jiang, legend from the graphic novel Katara and the Pirate's Silver, is in Avatar: Generations. Pilfering to support the less fortunate, she instilled fear in the southern coast, but now she protects the Earth Kingdom from the scourge of the Fire Nation in her own, swashbuckling way. Jiang captains her team as a backline carry. She uses speed to deal damage, while coordinating finishing blows that scale up her attacks. Her basic ability, "Easy Pickings", removes evasion buffs from the target, making them vulnerable to attacks. Her advanced ability, "On my Command", marks an enemy and increases her and her allies' turn bar by 25 percent. When Jiang or her crew attack an marked enemy, her passive ability "Steady Crew" grants her a random offensive buff and reduces the speed of all enemies by 15 percent. These skill masteries massively scale Jiang's power, permanently increasing her stats whenever she defeats a marked opponent. We recommend freedom arts to support Jiang's damage and her chances of delivering the defeating strike. Alternatively, if you want to maximize damage scale, then ew recommend a full set of war arts. Jiang is regularily available for summoning. However, during the "Four Nations-Rebels" event, your odds of summoning her have been greatly increased. Thanks for watching. Captain Jiang will have you team performing in ship-shape in no time! And if you're still ji-ang the fence about her, well, you had better get ji-ang on board. I'm Andrew, and I'll see you on the seas. |
Moon Spirit Yue | Avatar: Generations brings you a character as beautiful and mysterious as the moon itself: Princess Yue. Yue's tale embodies selflessness, sacrifice, and duty. When the Moon Spirit falls victim to Zhao's treachery, she offers her own life in exchange for taking its place, turning the tide against the invading Fire Nation. In battle, Yue unleashes awe-inspiring revive and heal support, prioritizing her team's survival, while sharing a potent damage buff with her waterbending allies. Yue's basic skill, "Push and Pull", deals spirit damage and heals her ally with the lowest hitpoints five percent of their max health. Her advanced skill, "Rising Tide", damages all enemies and grants her allies skill nullify. Yue's spirit aura passive amplifies the waterbending damage of her entire team when she works with other waterbenders in combos. If Yue falls in battle, she revives up to two random allies and boosts her entire team's turn bar by 35 percent. These skill masteries allow Yue to selectively weaken opponents and provide even more powerful healing effects to her team. We recommend speed arts where Yue is vulnerable to faster, more aggressive strategies. Alternatively, you could equip life artsfor that pure enhanced survivability. Princess Yue is available during the "Spirit's Call" peace and chaos event. Thanks for watching. With Princess Yue watching over your team, you can stand strong against any opponent. I'm Andrew, and I'll see you in the North. |
Moon Slayer Zhao | Moon Slayer Zhao has landed in Avatar: Generations. Zhao has infiltrated the Spirit Oasis and slain the Moon Spirit. With the waterbenders now powerless, Moon Slayer Zhao seeks to etch his name in Fire Nation history. He's a bruiser and executioner who gains terrifying power as he defeats enemies. His basic ability, "Execution", deals damage based on the target's missing hit points and grants him life steal. His advanced ability, "Fatal Flame", scales damage based on how many debufss the target has. Zhao's passive ability, "Spirit Slay", inflicts "Red Moon" on all enemies whenever he defeats an opponent. Not only does this increase the damage they receive, but Zhao cannot die while "Red Moon" is active. These skill masteries relentlessly reduce the enemies' attack power, while simultaneously elevating Zhao's to unprecedented heights. We reccomend rejuvenation arts to build an absolute monster out of Zhao who already has powerful life steal abilities. Alternatively, you could build knowledge arts to keep Zhao protected during the early stages of battle. Moon Slayer Zhao is available during the "Spirit's Call" peace and chaos event. Thanks for watching. The Moon Slayer has arrived, and if you're able to make him a part of your team and harness the red moon, your victory might just be inevitable. [Zhao talking: "I will win this war... it is inevitable."] |
Prisoner Katara | Earthbending is illegal and Prisoner Katara is here to help. After inspiring Haru to earthbend -which led to his arrest- Katara infiltrates the prison, becoming a beacon of hope for her fellow prisoners, encouraging them to stand up and fight for their freedom. Prisoner Katara is a vital support unit with debuff countering and incredible healing, especially for her rebel allies. Her basic ability, "Steady Resolve", deals erosion damage and heals allies that are inflicted with negative effects, especially rebels. Her advanced ability, "Now's Your Chance!", heals allies for 25% of their maximum hit points, and you can double that for rebels. Lastly, Katara's passive ability, "Fight for Freedom", heals allies whenever a marked target is attacked. These skill masteries allow Katara more opportunities to heal and spill over additional speed and accuracy to her allies. We recommend speed arts for Katara to help help her support skills firing and keep your team's health topped up. Alternatively, you could equip life arts for survivability, as she's likely to be targeted early. Prisoner Katara is available during the Solitary Confinement event. Thanks for watching. The Warden and his men have been a menace to the earthbending villagers, but Katara has inspired them to start fighting back. Will you let her inspire your team as well? |
Brothers Goro and Juro | The fierce flames of brotherhood burn bright. Welcome to an Avatar: Generations character spotlight on the new original characters Goro and his brother Juro. Younger brother Goro has a temper as volatile as an erupting volcano and he relies on his brother Juro to navigate his interpersonal relationships. Juro is a composed and charming taskmaster with a respectful demeanor towards the other nations. When united on the sidelines, Goro relentless speed and debuffs perfectly complement Juro's healing and protective abilities, creating a formidable brotherly synergy that turns them into an unyielding force on the battlefield. Goro's basic ability, "Hostile Assertion", deals damage based on his speed. juro's basic ability, "Light the Way", deals damage based on his maximum hitspoints. Goro's advanced abilury, "Battering Blows", hits all enemies and he enters a volatile stance, increasing his speed and giving him a chance to counter-attack. Juro's advanced ability, "Contingency Plan", heals allies and immediately grants him an additional turn. Goro's passive ability, "Blood for Blood", grants him counter-attacks when Juro is attacked. Juro's passive ability, "Composed Reprisal", reduces his cooldowns whenever Goro is attacked. Each brother also receives a 30 percent damage reduction if they are in a sideline slot. Goro's skill masteries further tear down the enemy, while Juro's masteries accelerate his healing and defensive abilities. For Goro, we recommend consequences arts to stack debuffs and reduce the cooldown of his advanced skill, allowing him to carve a way to his opponents. For Juro, we recommend life arts because of his percentage-based healing and HP damage scaling. Goro and Juro are both available during the "Maximum Security" event. Thanks for watching! Goro and Juro may not always see eye to eye, but they always have each other's backs. And with Juro there to manage his brother, I'm sure you'll have no problem adding them onto your team. I'm Andrew and I'll see you on the prison rig. |
The Warden | Welcome, honored guests to an Avatar: Generations character showcase on the warden. The warden is a merciless authority figure who takes pleasure in belittling ridiculing his prisoners. He crushes their morale and he shatters their resolve. In battle, he provokes his adversaries while stripping away their advantages and imposing his own debuffs. The warden's basic ability, "Punish Insolence", deals impact damage and heals allies when he is in a mocking stance. His advanced ability, "Tyrannical Laughter", grants his team both lifesteal and hitpoint regeneration, while also placing him in a mocking stance. Lastly, his passive ability, "Break the Spirit", removes two defensive buffs from an enemy whenever they are attacked by the warden. These skill masteries enhance the warden's allies, further widening the gap between his team and already disadvantaged opponents. We recommend speed arts to support the warden in getting the first move. Alternatively, you may do better with life arts as opponents may not take kindly to his mocking stance, in which case you'll need the survivability. The warden is available during the "My Honored Guests" event. Thanks for watching. Make the warden a part of your roster before he makes you one of his honored guests. I'm Andrew and I'll see you on the prison rig. |
