No, I don't think The Duke is Kanto and considering he's an orphan, he might not have a real name at all. Your evidence isn't very convincing, no offense. There's nothing to really point Kanto out as anything more than Toph's sperm donor

The Duke is implied to be orphaned at a young age,But whose to say he doesn't remember his name?,He probably had one given by his parents,Even though they might've been killed and, There is some similiarites in his skin tone to Lin's,And I'm sticking with the "The Duke" Theory for who Kanto is,And he's more likely to be Kanto then anyone else i've seen.
I wonder who other people think he is,I'm just stating i think it's The Duke.
Kanto didn't exist in any previous form beforehand. It was:
1. Bryke trolling the audience by having the reveal be so anti-climactic. They've been directly/literally asked this question since before the show actually debuted and feigned deafness of it.
and 2. The point was that long-lost parents aren't always the big deal stories (ex. OT "Star Wars" vs. New Trilogy "Star Wars") hype them to be. Kanto wasn't a Freedom Fighter, Sokka or anyone even remotely notable, he (and apparently Su's father) was literally just some guy Toph hooked up that didn't work out. Shit happens.
I,for one, like this theory. I mean whose to say it wasn't The Duke. Also Toph may be ambitious, but she's not stupid she wouldn't just dive into a one night stand without considering the consequences. Plus Toph doesn't trust people easily, which means it must have been someone she knew or cared about. She would want someone who loves her enough to protect her, but understand her well enough to give her space and freedom.
Based on the reveal? It seems pretty clear that Kanto was an ex-boyfriend, not a one-night stand. Toph fairly clearly held him in high regard despite the fact that they didn't work out as a couple in the long run.
