  • What happened to certain characters? Will we ever know?

    1. Master Yu and Xin Fu were trapped in that metal box that Toph got out of. Do you think they ever learned to metalbend their own way out, or (like Xin Fu said, "I'm going to be stuck in here with you forever, aren't I?") died in there due to starvation and dehydration?

    2. Fire Sage Shyu, along with the other 4 Sages in Roku's Temple, were captured by Commander Zhao and made guilty, even though only Shyu was. There are other "Capital" Fire Sages in the Fire Nation Palace, but we never saw the Temple Sages again. What do you think happened to the 5 originally seen Sages? If found in a Palace prison, they could have been released by Zuko, but we never knew what prison they went to...

    3. And when Azula banished Lo from the Palace but pointed to Li, the identical twins were left confused as to who could stay and who was banished. They were last seen after this order. What happened to them? Although very elderly and died way before Team Avatar, did the twins split up and one leave the Fire Nation? If so, which one? And whether one of them being banished or not, what did Lo and Li do after the war, mainly being Azula's firebending mentors?

    • 1. Whatever happened to the Kyoshi Warriors and Kyoshi Island?  Do they still exist in 171 ASC?  Last, they were guarding Uncle Iroh as he is temporary Fire Lord until Zuko returns.  Maybe The Search part 3 explained.

      2.  What happened to little girl Koko same name as the daughter of Avatar Kyoshi?  Did she become a Warrior?  Did she help Aangy build Republic City?  Did she become leader of the Kyoshi Warriors?

      3. What happened to Foamy?  Did he get healed from that affliction or does he still foam at the mouth when anxious?  With Tokka (ship of Sokka and Toph) did Suki [1] return to her childhood sweetheart, Foamy?

Yes, I am obsessed over the Kyoshi Warriors.  I liked them in the series.

    • 1. I actually don't really how they escaped. Maybe they have been trying to escape for a long time and then, using all their strength, got out of the box.

      2. Shyu probably escaped and retired and his from the Fire Nation. The other sages were probably sent to a prison or have been excecuted by Ozai.

      3. I am not really sure about that one.

I also have a question of my own: What happened to Long Feng? He was last seen admitting defeat from Azula and he has never been seen after that.

    • 1. They either broke out or died in there.

      2. I'm sure once Zuko was enthroned, he'd have access to prison records and be able to free them

      3. Not really sure; Since the banishment happened under Azula, Zuko would have no reason to uphold it but he'd also have no real use for them. Maybe he fired them or they went into retirement

And, to the above question, I'd guess Long Feng was either jailed or put to death by Azula or FN officals; he'd be too much hof a liablity considering his former status. And if Azula didn't get him, I'm sure Kuei did after he regained power

    • 1. They might have broken out Bumi-style? Or maybe just use their fingernails to gradually scratch their way out xD

      2. Prison or sentenced to death.

      3. They probably ended up messing around on Ember Island together, just like the old days.

    • 1. Xin Fu and master Yu might have died in that metal box, but I think that they escaped, since they are both powerful earthbenders, quite clever and Xin Fu also seems quite strong, so if master Yu tells Xin Fu that he needs to poop, then I think that it would be all the motivation Xin Fu needs to use his sheer strength to break them out. Furthermore, I don't think Bryke would have them killed in such a way it, since it seem like a waste of two good characters, which together make an interesting team.

      2. Zhao called all of the sages traitors, so I therefore think that the crime they will be charged with is treason, and Ozai said to Zuko that banishment wasn't a severe enough punishment for treason, which makes me think that the punishment for treason is banishment, so all of these facts lead me to believe that the sages were banished.

      3. Lo and Li seem to be quite close to each other, so even though only one of them got banished, I still think that the other twin also went in exile probably on  Ember Island (as mentioned by Dragonboy6491).

    • 1. I think they used the earth around them to cut an opening through.

      2. I think they were thrown in prison, but when Zuko became firelord released.

      3. They were probably both guides of the Fire Nation after.

    • I wonder about stuff like exactly how Noatak became Amon. Where did he learn to equalize people?

    • How Noatak became Amon is a great mystery, but I guess that it started with him surviving the blizzard, then he probably thought a lot about his life and what he was going to do with it, and after that, he decided that he should "help the world by removing benders". As for the ability to equalize people, I assume that Noatak somehow learned that ability by using and or investigating the waterbending technique "healing", since "healing" is done by redirecting chi throughout the body which is quite similar to "equalizing" which is performed by blocking the chi of a person. By the way, now when I think of it, I would actually think it would be quite interesting (since it is such a big mystery) if they made a mini series that told us how Noatak became Amon.

    • Not to mention where he learned Chi Blocking & what this "secret history" of that technique is.

    • Yes, it would be interesting to know where Chi Blocking comes from, since it is an important weapon for the equalists in their fight against benders, and it might also be with the knowledge of this technique that Amon developed his bending removal technique. Just as you say, it is really a mystery where the technique comes from, I mean the first Chi Blocker we got to know of is Ty Lee, but where and from whom did she learn the technique and who was it that later taught Amon Chi Blocking? If we also consider the fact that Ty Lee joined a circus the mystery becomes even harder to figure out because the circus have probably traveled to many different places in the world of Avatar, so we can't even figure out from what nation the technique comes from, but we can of course assume that it comes from either the Fire Nation or the Earth Kingdom.

    • I always assumed she just learned it from some circus performer, but then Mike & Bryan said something about it having a "secret, dark history."

        Loading editor
    • When or where did Bryke say that?

        Loading editor
    • I don't remember.

    • Ok, I was just wondering out of curiosity, but it doesn't matter I still believe you.
