Where is the name Hisaro from? A reliable source? Mensilater 03:09, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Nope, someone who has no life and wants to screw with this Wikia to make up for it. Omnibender 15:57, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Why don't we keep the picture with all the Avatars in it? It's already uploaded, and shows the continuity. But then again, I like pictures too much. :\ Mensilater 22:28, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

"I'm sick and tired of people naming him" ~Omni[]

Then why not call him Unnamed Fire Avatar or something? Felinoel 01:47, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

You have no idea how stupid you made me feel right now... I'm moving his page. Omnibender 01:59, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Finally![]

Finally someone has changed the protection level. Why do people mess with this article so much? Vaznock 03:00, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

I got tired of people messing with it and then others having to revert it. So this article is going to stay protected at this level forever or untill new inforation is released on it. Zero - Talk 04:55, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Why?[]

  • Why is the page protected even for registered users? I want to make a constructive edit. Aangman793 (talk) 23:11, February 19, 2010 (UTC)
    • Because in the past people would create accounts so they could bypass regular protection and try to give this guy a name. Even registered people try to name him. Just leave the change in the talk page and I'll change it. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:25, February 19, 2010 (UTC)
      • "He was seen making volcanoes erupt by using his Firebending, briefly greatly enhanced by the Avatar State." Aangman793 (talk) 00:02, February 20, 2010 (UTC)
        • Done. Also just checked the protection log, the protection level takes away editing from anons and newly registered members. I guess that you'll be able to edit this in a couple of days. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:03, February 20, 2010 (UTC)

Importance[]

Is he really a "notable bender"? I mean, we see him once in the whole series. Does he really need to be in the list of notable benders for the bending arts? LibrarianFan 06:40, March 7, 2010 (UTC)

Where did Kyu come from?[]

Where did the name Kyu come from? A fan? a source? Where? --KiumaruHamachi (talkcontribs) 16:15, July 8, 2010 (UTC)KiumaruHamachi

Fan. Removed already. --I'm The Bos - Talk - Guardian 01:23, July 9, 2010 (UTC)
From the same place every other name he has ever had has: people with too much available time, and way too little to do. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 03:32, July 10, 2010 (UTC)
A long time ago, in Nicktropolis, there was a quiz about the Avatar. In that quiz, one of the questions was: Who was the Avatar before Avatar Aang? There was four answers, I don't remember the fourth one. They were not in this order. 1 Avatar Kyoshi; 2 Avatar Roku and 3 Avatar Ichi. This is real. Don't you think this is maybe his real name? 85.138.19.20 17:46, August 28, 2010 (UTC)SakasFixe
Not really, in Escape from the Spirit World, options to multiple choice questions on spirits with answers such as "Tui and La" and "Hei Bai" had options which were misspellings of the names, it doesn't mean anything. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 21:36, August 28, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, but in EftSW Koh is trying to make Aang lose his face. But in Nicktropolis, was Nickelodeon, and it doesn't change the story of Avatar by losing a question in a quiz. If Ichi is not the name of this Unnamed Fire Avatar, I'm sure it is from another one. For me, Ichi is the name of this Avatar. Remember what Bryke said about Yangchen when she was developing? They call her Susan.

Studying the patterns of the Avatars, isn't this... unreasonable, gender-wise?[]

Is anyone else confused why this "unnamed avatar" is a... well... guy? It's kind of strange. Look at this below:

- Yangchen: Air nomad: Female

- Kuruk: Water tribe: Male

- Kyoshi: Earth kingdom: Female

- Roku: Fire nation: Male

- Aang: Air nomad: Male

It had originally appeared to me that it the avatar genders should be male, female, male, female, and so forth. However, because of Aang being male, I think that every time the cycle repeats the avatar also has to follow the boy-girl order. Like, the air nomad's avatar genders should also be male-female and so forth. For example:

Fire-Female; Air-Male; Water-Female; Earth-Male; Fire-Male; Air-Female; Water-Male; Earth-Female; Fire-Female; Air-Male; Water-Female; Earth-Male; Fire-Male; Air-Female; Water-Male; Earth-Female; Fire-Female; Air-Male; Water-Female; Earth-Male; Fire-Male; etc. etc.

And if you take all of those out and catagorize them by nation:

Fire-Female; Fire-Male; Fire-Female; Fire-Male; Fire-Female; Fire-Male

Air-Male; Air-Female; Air-Male; Air-Female; Air-Male

Water-Female; Water-Male; Water-Female; Water-Male; Water-Female

Earth-Male; Earth-Female; Earth-Male; Earth-Female; Earth-Male

I had originally thought that this was the order, but then I saw this page, which states that this "unnamed avatar" is the avatar that came before Yangchen, and that would be impossible for him to be male because Roku is also male. Either that or my theory is wrong. Someone please reply; I'm really curious :)

He has a mustache. That would make him one ugly girl or (more logically) a guy. --I'm The Bos - Talk - Guardian 12:41, July 19, 2010 (UTC)

Your theory is wrong. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 01:18, July 20, 2010 (UTC)

Unnamed earth avatar[]

Since there are many pages of characters with no name and the avatar before this one has been shown in all the scenes with the Unnamed fire avatar except when he was shown lavabending, (In the ATLA b02 ep01, LOK b01 e12 & b02 e13) I think there should be a page for him too. All the others before him are not shown properly (except Wan). Deshkap 2006 (wallcontribs) 02:21, November 23, 2013 (UTC)

We had a discussion about this over a year ago after the first season ended, and the decision was not to create an article for the Earth Avatar and others before him. Since there's been no new information about that Avatar released between now and then, I'd say there's no need to overturn that consensus now. --AvatarRokus Ghost (Message meRead my fanon) Energy Saga Dragons, Sieges and Volcanoes 02:35, November 23, 2013 (UTC)
Ok. Thanx for the forum link. I was wondering how there was no sign of any discussion about this avatar Deshkap 2006 (wallcontribs) 03:22, November 23, 2013 (UTC)

The Rise of Kyoshi[]

I haven't read it, but I understand there's a mention to an Avatar called Salai in the book. Since I don't know the context in which he's mentioned, I put the question forward: is this guy the Salai they talked about? From general edits I see stuff on Kuruk and Yangchen was revealed in the book, which raises the possibility Salai being another Avatar in the cycle that preceded Kyoshi. For the people who've read the book, is there enough context to determine if this is Salai? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:58, August 18, 2019 (UTC)

Sadly, not really. In essence, Yun (the boy who is believed to be the Avatar) just talks with Kyoshi about friendship, and how he wants someone around him who will treat him like a regular friend. In this context, Yun tells her that he hopes that she will compliment him and say that he is "as good as Yangchen or Salai". That is all. We just learn that Salai was an Avatar, and respected. I strongly suspect that Salai is supposed to be this Avatar, but we get no confirmation. The author has confirmed that parts of the next book will take place in the Fire Nation, however, and we will probably learn this Avatar's history when that happens (as Yee has already revealed a lot about Kuruk and Yangchen). How the hell you pronounce that?[]

SEH-to, ZEH-to, Soo-ZEH-to, SHEH-to? It sounds like a fucking Hungarian name, but he's from a nation that is based on Japan, and that name does not exist in Japanese. The closest pronunciation to a Japanese name is "Seto"(an actual Japanese name), though in Japanese kana, it cannot be written as Szeto.

Tokoyami no Nietzsche (wallcontribs) 14:17, 14 November 2020 (UTC).

As is noted in the trivia, the name originates from the ancient Chinese title Situ (wikipedia article). HAMMEROFTHØR (wall) • 14:40, 14 November 2020 (UTC)
