Northern Water Tribe[]
Does the Northern Water Tribe Avatar Temple count as a stupa? It's similar, but I'm not sure if it actually is a stupa. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 14:40, November 2, 2015 (UTC)
- I looked into it while rewriting the page last night, and from my research it seems like stupas were the precursors of pagodas, which developed when the structural design spread throughout Asia. The Northern Water Tribe Avatar Temple is slightly more similar to the pagoda than it is to the stupa, but it is the closest intermediate.
