why hasn't her part in the magazine comic "going home again" put in here? it is considered canon, where the "start of Mai with Zuko" is explained --Wiselad 00:00, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

The interaction between Jin and Mai described in this article--what episode did that happen in?

One of the online comics available at nick's site. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 14:15, March 5, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. I actually don't think it happened at all. I'm going to delete it.

Do it at your own risk, removing valid information is considered vandalism. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:16, March 12, 2010 (UTC)

There should probably be a note that that information is exclusive to the comic or at least a reference. I would do it myself but I'm not familiar with the editing style of this wikia and am not able to access the site the comic is on. I too was very confused about the validity of that information until looking into it. --Linarra (talkcontribs) 08:39, April 8, 2010 (UTC)

Japanese name[]

Who says it's Japanese? Jin has many meanings in Chinese too. We cannot provide such information without knowing the Chinese character. -Darjeeling- (wallcontribs) 17:06, June 28, 2014 (UTC)

No one said her name was Japanese. We just said that the name itself is Japanese and has meanings that are shared with her personality. Frui (🌹🐝🐝🐝) 11:01, June 29, 2014 (UTC)
Jin can also be a Chinese name and has also positive meanings (depending on the Chinese character). It would         also fit her personality. This is just some nice interpretation, but it's not a fact unless it's confirmed. It should be         removed or we mention all interpretations including the Chinese one. -Darjeeling- (wallcontribs) 21:36, July 14, 2014 (UTC)
You're more than welcome to include any other different interpretations which pertain to the character as that's standard practice for the trivia section of characters. We recognize that a lot of the names have a lot of counterparts in many different languages, so we only note comparisons that are relevant to the character.
