Sho Lin was the executive secretary to President Zhu Li Moon.[1]
History[]
Sho Lin was present at the Pro-bending Arena after Varrick mysteriously disappeared. As Varrick's track record of disappearing at random meant that the Republic City Police would no longer take the issue seriously, Zhu Li had to organize a team of people she trusted to resolve the case. Sho Lin read the details out to the team, clarifying the known details of the disappearance, concluding that Varrick was likely on some silly errand, but that the triads were likely responsible if he had truly been abducted. She suggested that some local triad members should be rounded up and interrogated, perhaps from the Terra Triad, but claimed to have no other information.
In truth, Sho Lin was only interested in having the situation resolved as quickly, quietly, and easily as possible. If that meant paying a ransom to triad members, she was comfortable having that done. She did not want anything to go public, whether Varrick was in danger or not, as it would only make the administration look weak. After doing a brief and efficient survey of the Presidential Box and surrounding areas, she was fairly confident that Varrick was in actual danger, and came up with some theories about who may have been involved.[2]
Personality[]
Sho Lin was a pragmatic and bookish woman, and helped to protect the president as much as she can. She was not corrupt, exactly, but she was certainly expedient, and had no interest stretching her boss's neck out for anyone, as well as her own.[1]
