Spaziante's first comic he was credited for designing the cover art for was Sonic the Hedgehog #21 in April 1995, and he also later worked on Sonic the Hedgehog #25 in August of the same year. Spaziante was part of the group, alongside Ken Penders and Steven Butler, known collectively as "Team Sonic" due to their extensive work on the series. Besides Sonic, Spaziante's other work includes Mega Man, Transformers, and the miniseries Muties for Marvel Comics, as well as working on children's books for the publishing company Simon & Schuster. Spaziante's work has received plaudits from critics, in particular his "clean and tight" pencil style which accurately captured the video game look of Mega Man.[1]
