Yea, the articles here are great and in high standard, I love to edit and research the show while building Vietnamese wiki :) I often visit here to read those articles and Ba Sing Se Times. Thanks for your welcome.
Because Vietnam is in Sino-sphere (like Japan and Korea) and Vietnamese culture is influenced by Chinese culture, addition we have a Sino-Vietnamese system, so I don't meet many difficulties in building a wiki about East Asian-universe show. But, since I'm not an English native and the show was set in English, I encounter few problems with English name and slang. So, I get help about that from users here in IRC or message wall :) Oh, now I'm the one and only editor there, so busy and lonely.
Could you help me this? The recently problem I have met when writing Vietnamese Firebending article is: "Aang, being traumatized by his first experience with firebending, was too afraid to "give it some juice", as said by Zuko". What is "give it some juice"? Thanks.
I'm sorry, but I am an Indonesian and I could not fluently speak and understand English but I'll try.. Zuko said "Your flame's gonna go out because it's too small. You're too timid, give it more juice." in The Firebending Masters episode, maybe it's a connotative phrase. ^^"
Sorry to butt in. I obviously can't speak Vietnamese, but I can reword "give it some juice" in English if that can help.
The context was that Aang's flame was too little. He was too afraid to let it grow bigger, and thus, he himself kept it from growing larger by not committing to it. "To give it juice" means that he should give it more fuel, more energy, more substance so the flame could grow bigger. The "juice/fuel/energy" to which Zuko was referring was likely the chi of a person, as that is the fuel for firebending (along with breath-control etc, but that's not the point here). Hope that helped somewhat.
Hi there Itsuki Lee and welcome to this wiki. ^^ It's nice to have another contributor around here, especially someone from another version of Avatar Wiki; that's really cool that you're an administrator on the Vietnamese version. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. =)
