  • Hello, I just wanted to thank you for all of the amazing work that you've done on the pages about the Kyoshi novels. I've noticed how many pages you've created and how much work you've put into them.  I love seeing other users that are just as passionate about the Kyoshi novels as I am. Amazing work!! I'm pretty new to this wiki and have been busy adding pages for the Kyoshi chapters. Please let me know if there's anything else in regards to Kyoshi info that I can help with or if you have any pointers for me! Thank you.

    • Thank you very much :)

I a little busy with my personal life right now but will likely be back soon to updates in the run up to the second novel's release.

    • Your work on the SoK information has been very impressive! Since you seem like the person to talk to about it, do you consider dust stepping to be a specialized form of bending? Have you considered creating a page for it? Is there enough information about it to warrant its own page? If so, what category would it be under?

    • I do not think it is a specialized form in the same way that metalbending or bloodbending is. Just a high-level technique. Still, I suppose that you could make a page if there was enough information, but I am not really inclined to make such a page myself. The categories it would be under would be Earthbending, and of course, A to Z.

  • Hey Kassilon, I noticed that you created several user templates that appear to be unused. May I ask if you were planning on using them all or what the idea behind their creation was? Just seems a bit pointless to me to create templates just to have them sit there. Users are free to create new user templates when they'd like to use them, the notice template is there for that purpose.

  • As the proposer, would you like the honours of creating and adding the new category.

  • Hey there! I was just wondering but does RoK have any Chinese characters in it? >.< I doubt it but thought I'd ask

      Loading editor
    • References are made to characters being written on signs, scrolls, tattoes, etc., but no actual Chinese characters are written in the book, no. Sorry!

    • Ah that's a shame. Just wondering. Thanks for getting back to me! :)

  • Do we actually know if that name is still current? It's not because the Northern Water Tribe capital was named as such during Kyoshi's time that it still bears that name 300 years later. City's can change their names (eg Constantinople and Istanbul).

    • I don't think so. It is made pretty clear in The Rise of Kyoshi that the Northern Water Tribe is a strong nation, as in, a single unified country. So Agna Qel'a is the capital. Whether most known NWT characters were born there is another question.

The characters that I added (Yue, Pakku, Unalaq, etc.) are all first seen in the capital and appear to reside there full time. While there seem to be other settlements (like the place Amon and Tarrlok grew up in) I have not added those.

Personally I do not see the problem with adding them to their nationality. We cannot ever be 100% sure that Joo Dee was from Ba Sing Se rather than growing up in some village in another part of the Earth Kingdom, but the natural assumption is that she is from there.

  • Where did you learn the names of the first 5 chapters?

    • There was a preview of the book on Amazon that went up to Chapter 3, and up to 5 for some people. It also included the prologue and epilogue.

  • Hey Kassilon, I just wanted to let you know that your recent edits have again been generating a lot of unwanted and unnecessary spacing changes. Did you change your editing preferences lately, as I though this issue was fixed?

      Loading editor
    • I just changed my editing preferences to source again, which I hope should fix it!

  • Could you add the relevant source for File:Mae-li.png? Even if it was self-made, it still needs to be noted where it came from.
