Hi FF. I wanted to ask why you changed the delete template that was added to the disambiguation pages to VfD. The consensus of the forum was that those pages should be deleted, so I don't see why they should still go through a vote.
Hey FF, I noticed you created a new infobox for your appreciation blog, but I was thinking that you could combine the templates similar to how the {{User of the month}} works. That way, we eliminate the necessity to create a new box every time this event is held again.
Hm, I would be willing to do that but it looks like there were different templates each year for the cabbagies and the user awards, and I think it's neat if the templates all look different- Is it possible to still have different looking templates using the code of the UoTM box?
I tried to access the link in the reference on your edit to The Rise of Kyoshi, but whenever I try I just get the error message "Your registration cookie is not present. Please enable cookies(if disabled) and re-register.". Do you have a better link that you could replace it with?
Hm, the registration page is here here (which is required to access the videso, then the main page for the event is here, and the list of events is here, in which the panel in question is "Fan Faves", and the page of the panel itself is what I linked. I don't think any of the works will work unless you're registered, though (to be fair anybody can do that for free). It's pretty poorly designed. I'm open to using any of the other links if you think they're better though. As far as I'm aware nobody has uploaded the panel elsewhere.
In that case, the page you included in the reference is probably the best, though having to go through the registration process is not ideal. If the panel or a transcript of the discussion does get uploaded elsewhere, I would suggest switching it over to that.
Yeah, I would agree as well. If I have free time I can try screenrecording the panel and then uploading it to YouTube (hopefully I won't be DMCA'd lol)
If I have time this weekend I will try and transcribe what was said (or at the very least the part that is relevant for us) so we have it in a better format.
Hey FF, I'm on my phone right now so it would be a hassle to do it myself, but could you please add the proper coding to the new archive page ypu created for the image proposals? If you take a look at page 30 you'll see that the images there are all blocked from showing up by coding. That allows us to track down the images were it ever necessary, but it prevents the creation of red links if one of the images ever gets delete. Thank you.
Not 100% sure about it, but the "all AN were airbenders because of high spirituality" is sort of condensed version of what they said in this interview with AvatarSpirit.net back in the day, I think.
Hi. I'm just curious, how do I go about creating new transcript pages? A preview of Ruins of the Empire has just been released and I want to start working on the transcript for it.
Sounds good! There's two ways to go about doing this.
One way would be to go to the url of the website (avatar.wikia.com/wiki/Transcript:Ruins_of_the_Empire) and then click the create button
The other way would be clicking the Add button on the top right, titling it Transcript:Ruins_of_the_Empire and working from there. You can copy the start of the wiki table formatting from a different page in source mode.
It is accurate, but part of wiki policy is to only add already existing categories. If we let anybody add any category they wanted as long as they were accurate, we could wind up with disorganized articles and many meaningless categories. If you want a category to be added to articles, I suggest proposing it in the War Room, where the community can vote on it.
I tried to follow the intructions for to add my signature but maybe I misread something. Do I just add Avatar Vasher (wall • contribs) 21:30, September 30, 2018 (UTC) at the end?
I think part of the issue is for whatever reason the version of the editor you are using is placing <nowiki> tags around your signature, I'm guessing it's assuming you want to actually type four ~s instead of your signature - I use source mode which does not have this problem, and if you enter source mode viewer you can check and remove any nowiki tags which should render your signature visible. For now I have modified the forum to fit appropriately.
A small correction to my previous reply, it is 4 ~'s not 5 to get your signature.
If I can also make a suggestion, try practicing in a reply to this thread and click preview before posting to check that it appears correctly. That should help you to see whether or not the code is correct.
To be clear you want the <nowiki> tags gone, you shouldn't see any of them. What those tags do is make the signature appear as ~~~~ instead of replacing those characters with your signature. If you can get rid of those, you'll be fine. To access source editor (if you aren't in it already) you can click on the tab with the three lines, and then click [] Source Editor, then look for any <nowiki> and </nowiki> tags and delete them. That should work.
Errr...I just deleted exactly that, it didn't work and now that I opened the source editor again the tags are back. Is there anything else I should delete? Maybe the automatic section that says my contribution was unsigned?
Nope, that wasn't automatic, that was users adding it. I clicked here to show the last change that you did, which appears to be adding more nowiki tags in source mode, you want to delete any of them left, and replace them with the ~~~~ characters, you can delete the auto signed things, but those aren't preventing your signature from showing up, they're just saying your comment was unsigned.
Since Zuko was born in 83 AG and Ursa was 21, when she married Ozai, she would have to be at least 21 (assuming it hapenned in the same year) by the time she gave birth to Zuko, so she should be at least 40 during the Search. If she was born in 64 AG, that would mean she gave birth to Zuko, when she was 19, which as we know is not the case, since she was 21, when she married Ozai.
That sounds about right, but I don't have a copy of the Search library edition on me so I feel uncomfortable changing the age while hearing only of the book through other people. Would you mind sending me the page where it says Ozai was 30 and Ursa was 21? You can just take a pic and upload it to imgur then link it here.
Should Ikem’s age be removed as well? I mean, it is based on the fact that he is the same age as Ursa and like you said her age was based on a bare minimum assumption.
