Kam was a waterbender contracted by Malina and Maliq as a member of their construction team for the Southern Reconstruction Project.[1]
History[]
Kam, along with Noa and Soonjei, was contracted by Malina and Maliq as part of a construction team they assembled for the reconstruction of the Southern Water Tribe shortly after the end of the Hundred Year War. Sometime during their work at the South Pole, Noa and two other benders encountered Katara and Sokka, whom they warn to stay out of construction sites. The construction crew subsequently attempted to remove the two siblings by force but were subdued by Katara with her waterbending.[1]
Sometime later, the construction crew went to brief Malina, Maliq, and Hakoda about ongoing construction, with each member showing surprise at seeing Katara and Sokka. Later during a festival on Southern Water Tribe grounds, Noa and the construction crew defended Maliq and Malina from an attack by Gilak. During the battle, they were easily defeated by Toph Beifong.[2]
Abilities []
Kam was an accomplished waterbender, able to hold his own against nonbending opponents.[2] However, since he was more accustomed to using his bending abilities for construction work than fighting, he was easily overpowered when faced with a trained bender.[1]
