Junsik was a citizen of the Fire Nation, the husband of Hei-Ran, and the father of Rangi. He passed away shortly after Rangi's birth.

History[]

In approximately 316 BG, Junsik married Hei-Ran after she returned from her time as a companion of Avatar Kuruk and began teaching at the Royal Fire Academy for Girls. Their marriage was so fulfilling that, in Kelsang's eyes, Hei-Ran was at her happiest during that time.[2]

A few years later, around the time of Kuruk's death, Junsik and Hei-Ran welcomed their daughter, Rangi. However, Junsik passed away shortly afterward, leaving Hei-Ran grieving and widowed.[1]

Legacy[]

Junsik was rarely mentioned in historical accounts. His daughter, Rangi, expressed guilt over not thinking about him as often as she did about Kelsang, but she wished she had more time to spend with both of them.[3]
