Jojan was an employee of Seashell San's House of Shells, acting to fulfill security detail and complete errands for San.[1]

Sometime after the end of the Hundred Year War, Jojan notified San about Giya entering the store and was informed that she was simply another fake collector. Jojan snickered alongside his boss when he dismissed the girl's attempts to purchase the shell of a hermit marmoset and later attempted to escort Suki out of the store. He urged the Kyoshi Warrior to stop squirming so that he would not be forced to be aggressive with her. After he refused to release Suki, Jojan was flipped over and knocked unconscious. He was woken up by San shortly after and ordered to fetch buckets of water to put out the fire which his boss inadvertently started.[1]
