Well, that's not his name ... but ...

"I don't think so, little girl. I like my life of crime. Turn yourself around and march out of here before you get hurt." |
— The gang leader to Ru and Yaling.[1] |
The gang leader was the head of a group of criminal firebenders that was active in Cranefish Town around 102 AG.
History[]
He and his four associates would rob people living in Cranefish Town, and regularily clashed with a rival earthbender gang. One night, his followers returned to their hideout after having been involved in a clash with their rivals as well as Team Avatar. The gang leader berated one of them for returning with a tiny amount of loot, noting how they had only stolen from the poor. He implored them to instead target rich people, frustrated that his associates had to "think this through".
At that moment, the hideout's door was busted, whereupon Ru and Yaling strode in. The former eloquently tried to convince the criminals to ally themselves with the town's secret bender supremacist movement, yet the gang leader angrily rebuffed them, as he liked to stay an independent criminal. He ordered one of his followers to show the "brats" the door, prompting Yaling to attack the group. She easily defeated the gang leader's four followers with earthbending, resulting in his surrender and declaration that he was willing to do anything they requested.
Later on the following day, the gang leader and his team sabotaged the Earthen Fire Refinery, but were promptly chased by Team Avatar. As he tried to escape, the gang leader made a wrong turn in Cranefish Town's streets and ended up on a cliff, cornered by Avatar Aang. Despite being confronted with the Avatar, he refused to surrender and attacked, but was easily incapacitated with earthbending. Although he still would not snitch about the reasons for his attack on Earthen Fire Industries, the cliff suddenly crumbled as Yaling was covertly trying to kill him and thereby ensure no loose ends. As he was falling toward the ocean, the gang leader screamed for help and was saved by Aang.[1] Grateful, he consequently told Aang that he had been hired by two girls, including one skilled earthbender, but he did not know their names or the purpose of sabotaging the Earthen Fire Refinery.[2]
