I think we should merge the Oma and Shu articles into one Oma and Shu article. They are both related and share the same basic history, just like Lo and Li, who we merged together. Their pages almost have all the same things on them. BlackMonkey Talk - Fire & Ice 20:21, November 30, 2011 (UTC)

I don't think so. Lo and Li were twins and had almost nothing to separate them by. Oma and Shu are different genders and have some different history - one was killed and the other brought peace to the two villages. --AvatarRokus Ghost (Message meRead my fanon) Energy Saga Dragons, Sieges and Volcanoes 20:29, November 30, 2011 (UTC)

I support the merge idea. WHile Lo and Li may be twins with undecipherable differences, Oma and Shu weren't exactly different either. One WAS killed, and one DID help end a war. But the story is very, very, very, horrendously similar. The story can be told on one page instead of two. As far as I'm concerned, having them apart is a waste of space.深层消防怪物 00:55, December 3, 2011 (UTC)
Supporting Azula, look at Poi and Ping. In The Fortuneteller, Poi helps make a trench to stop the lava from Mt. Makapu, while Ping does not, yet they share a page due to their together-ness and similar backgrounds and stories. They're a pair, even without exact similar tales, and so are Oma and Shu. If that doesn't convince you, tell me why this situation is different from the merge I have suggested. BlackMonkey Talk - Fire & Ice 03:24, December 3, 2011 (UTC)
I believe they should merge like Poi and Ping. As for Lo and Li, why don't we merge them too? We can't even tell which one is Lo and which one is Li.  Omashu Rocks  Talk  Fanon OSP

Lo and Li are already merged :-) I don't think we should merge Oma and Shu, because they are clearly differentiated persons. They have their own story and even have another gender, and a bit of another story. Lady Lostris / 9?cb=20210808202057 SOAP 23:33, December 14, 2011 (UTC)

I still don't think they should merge per Lady. Plus Poi and Ping and Lo and Li are sets of twins. --AvatarRokus Ghost (Message meRead my fanon) Energy Saga Dragons, Sieges and Volcanoes 00:48, December 15, 2011 (UTC)
There is enough information to distinguish between Oma and Shu, contrasting that of Poi and Ping, as well as fellow twins Lo and Li. Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem 01:01, December 15, 2011 (UTC)
I am opposed to merging the articles, Oma and Shu are from two feuding villages, they are not related, and they are not of the same gender, to basically sum up what a few others said. Annawantimes (Talk) 05:46, December 17, 2011 (UTC)
Sorry BM, I'm not with you on this one. Per ARG. --Bahjy1 Message Wall Blog 13:28, December 17, 2011 (UTC)
As they are completely different people who are merely involved in the same legnd, I agree that we should keep them separate. They are from different tribes, of different genders, and have different stories, with Oma surviving Shu to found the city. Free as a Bison (talkcontribs) 16:02, December 17, 2011 (UTC)
As the others have said, although they do share a lot of history, their stories differ enough to warrant them to have separate pages. They're not like the two sets of twins; they're distinct individuals. The Ultimate Waterbender 17:35, December 29, 2011 (UTC)
