Mai and Ty Lee added to main page. |

I'm just a nony saying this, but I feel that if I can help, I should. I am proposing that we replace Appa and Momo's characters on the home page with Mai and Ty Lee's.
I feel that these characters play an important role in the series, and Appa and Momo are both just animals. I feel that they are both more main than Suki, and are in more episodes than Ozai.
I completely understand if this is an inappropriate, or unnecesary suggestion, I am just putting it out there.76.167.204.201 16:20, April 4, 2012 (UTC)
- I don't know about the traffic of each page, so I guess that should be the guideline. If we would go based on the comments, I'd say change this, because Ty Lee and Mai obviously have more traffic than the other two pages. Another reason would be that those pages would then get more visibility as Momo and Appa are linked on every page of Team Avatar a few times, whereas Mai and Ty Lee don't have that many links and thus less one-click accesses. And the other hand, the front page does feature the members of Team Avatar and Appa and Momo were part of that. Lady Lostris /

- It's not an inappropriate suggestion at all. :) I'm happy for a change like this to be made if most people prefer Mai and Ty Lee being on the main page rather than Appa and Momo. The main difference is that Appa and Momo appear in each episode, unlike Mai and Ty Lee, but they do play a more peripheral role. The 888th Avatar (talk) 09:20, April 4, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, it's actually been bugging me for quite some time, and if there are other characters that can be replaced with them on the front page, that's fine by me, but I felt that those two were the most appropriate to replace. 76.167.204.201 15:48, April 4, 2012 (UTC)
- Inappropriate? Not even close. In fact, I do agree with this suggestion. Despite Appa and Momo's millions of appearances in the series, to be honest, they're really nothing more than a plot device/comic relief. Play absolutely no intregal role in the series at all (besides Aang losing Appa. . .again, plot device). Mai and Ty Lee, on the other hand. . .well, if it wasn't for them, Zuko, Sokka, Hakoda, and Suki would be dead right now, and Azula would be livin' it up un-insanified. All for the chaange.
