Zhifang and Panzi are minor characters in the fanon Avatar: The Legacy of Rong Yan.
History[]
Zhifang and Panzi are identical twins born to two peasants in the Iwasaki province of the Fire Nation. Both twins became orphans at the age of seven after their parents were killed by akuto. Their father dealt with drugs and owed money to an akuto crime boss, both parents were taken out for insubordinance to the clan they served.
The twins were tossed to the streets after their parents were killed and survived off scraps and petty theft. When they became of age they joined another clan in hopes one day they can help them seek revenge against the akuto clan that took their parents from them.
Several years have gone and both twins have become professional thieves sent on heists but they wanted bigger than that. They eventually left the clan to join the Fifth Nation, still holding allegiance to the clan, however.
The Heist[]
Zhifang and Panzi first met Kimaru in a tavern where he believed the Fifth Nation might be present. After he said their code phrase in a buzzed state of alcohol consumption after he took two jiggers of a gold-flaked rum known to only be consumed by low-class nobles and Fifth Nation pirates.
When the twins noticed the signs they took him toward a dark corner where they talked to a drunk Kimaru. But received no answers after he went unconscious, he awoke in their ship where Sao Feng interrogated him along with Da Fu and the twins.
The twins and Kimaru were tasked into breaking into a treasury house in the Upper District of Chu Shi. Where he believed that the coffers were filled in the last century, Kimaru had been placed on the team with the twins and Zei a new recruit to the Fifth Nation but a fine thief.
Abilities[]
Panzi and Zhifang were both born firebenders they learned firebending from the akuto clan they joined soon after they became of age.

- Panzi and Zhifang means "fat" and "tubby" in Chinese since both characters are fat pirates.
