Prince Zaphnath is a Prince of the Isoro Empire's 20th Dynasty and third in line to be Pharaoh. Zaphnath is a minor character in the fanon Avatar: Civil Strife.
History[]
Zaphnath was born in 1922 BG, to Pharaoh Shabaka and Queen Consort Asenath in Bekini. He was their third-born child, very little is known about Zaphnath. He spends most of his time with his tutor in his academical studies, his parents desire in having him involved with the government and royal family when he's a grown man. Likely an advisor or even a minister for his older brother.
Coming of Age[]
Zaphnath along with Shabaka, and Setka arrived as guests to Omashu for the celebration of Chu Zi's coming of age party. Where he watched his future sister-in-law fought animals in the palace arena. Remaining in the background he participated in the party at the end of the night where he and his relatives feasted on Omashu's delicacies. He even joined other children and played with them throughout the night something that'd he'd never get to do back home. The next morning Zaphnath waited outside the palace with his older brother, when his father arrived with Chu Zi.

Zaphnath was born a non-bender but is spending most of his time on his academical studies.

- Zaphnath's name is derived from Zaphnath-Paaneah which is a bibilical name meaning "the man who uncovers mysteries" in Ancient Egyptian according to the Genesis narrative.
