By Cangse Sanren Part of the Dying Embers continuity.

Princess Yue ll or just Yue is a dominant dual bender of earth and fire and the great-great granddaughter of Avatar Roku. Yue is the firstborn daughter of Maya and Kyomi. She is the granddaughter of Bato and Ozai, adopted niece of Aang and Toph, niece of Zuko, Sokka, Azula, Katara, and Melody, and the younger cousin of Saoirse, Amaya, Aura, Celeste, and Tempest. She was named in honor of Yue, the Princess of the Northern Water Tribe.

Yue is also one of the first characters to be born a mix of water, earth, and fire, as her mother was born to a Water Tribe father and a Fire Nation mother.

History[]

Early Life[]

Yue was born twenty-two years after the end of the Hundred Year War to Maya, a waterbender, and Kyomi, an earthbender and the granddaughter of King Bumi. She was born in the Southern Water Tribe capital city at dawn during an aurora borealis. As she grew older, Yue had a prominent connection with the spirits, despite not being an airbender, and was able to communicate with them.

This ability was met with much joy and acceptance from her parents, who always encouraged her to follow her dreams and do what she knew was right. With this in mind, she frequently traveled outside of her village for hunting and bending practice as well as practicing her spiritual abilities.

With some practice, Yue was eventually able to tap into the Avatar line and made contact with her grandfathers, Roku and Kuruk, who told her to tell her family that they couldn't be any more proud of them and were glad that their bloodlines will continue to keep growing.

As time went on, Yue flourished under the guidance of her family, friends, and mentors, and became one of the most powerful dual benders in the world. Like her older cousins, aunts uncles, and grandparents, Yue had a habit of thinkinh outside of the box and integrating oppositional bending styles into the bending she was born with, making her stances as firm as a boulder.
