Yua is a minor character in the fanon Avatar: The Legacy of Rong Yan, and is Rong Yan's love interest post Book 3, she's the princess of the Fire Nation.
History[]
Yua was born to Fire Lord Yeh and Lady Kiku in 675 BG as their second-born child, the princess of the Fire Nation was kept hidden from the country and the world for a long time. Her existence was released publicly until she was twelve.
She met Aloi when she was seventeen when the young Air Nomad visited the Fire Nation city of North Jung-Ling when she stopped for some rest. From that point on, Aloi had been invited to the palace a few times and plenty of other times to Ember Island.
In her adulthood, Yua has taken the responsibility of stateswoman for her father while he ruled from the Fire Nation. She visits Ba Sing Se, while he's fallen ill to a new disease that is taking over the country. While Yeh survives Kiku dies soon after Yeh recovers which forces Yua to return. Her duty in Ba Sing Se is to seek aid from the Qiangda Kingdom and send scientists and alchemists to help in the study of said disease.
While he nation is being ravaged a number of things she finds happiness for a brief moment when she meets Rong Yan and they have a magical evening together to get her mind off of things back home. At the party on Laogai Island she meets other nobles who are of Nationalist descent but are natural-born Qiangdian citizens and finally reunites with Aloi. A letter from Shukun immediately sends her home where she's notified of Kiku's death.
Post Book 3[]
After Rong Yan returns home Yua and Rong Yan date for a total of five years, in that time Rong Yan becomes a politician himself and aids the Fire Nation and brings stability in the form of politics. Yua marries Rong Yan in 645 BG, which furthers his influence in the politics of the Fire Nation. When Shukun is crowned Fire Lord, he elects Rong Yan as his Grand Vizier, where the pair continue a golden rule.
Abilities[]
Yua was born a firebender and learned to master it at the age of 16, she was trained in lightningbending and mastered the rare art form by 19. Although she doesn't use her bending often she's a skilled politician and stateswoman who benefits the Fire Nation much like her later husband Avatar Rong Yan.

Trivia[]
- Yua is a common Japanese name for a girl and it means "tie, bind, love, affection" in Japanese.
- In the comic version Yeh Lu had no children, in the first version in written form back in 2012, Shukun existed but not Yua.
- Yua carries Kingsmen blood, although very little.
