Yameng was the 138th avatar and the 37th air avatar, he was considered as one of the worst avatars in history.

Early Life[]
Avatar Yameng was born and raised in the northern air temple, unlike most male air Avatars who were from the southern air temple, he originally had the promise to accomplish things similar to Zalir, his direct predecessor, who was remembered as a legendary Avatar, his hopes were shattered however, when the clans on the fire islands eventually grew more and more hostile to each other, paving the way for the warlord era of the fire islands.
Life as Avatar[]
After the clans of the fire islands grew very hostile to each other, they started to feud each other in bloody conflicts, paving the way for the warlord era of the fire islands, one notable leader was Toz of the Hari Clan, who surpassed all the other clan leaders (warlords) in terms of power, with a large territory consisting of several villages, mostly in the fire nation capital city island.
He tried to settle down the disputes while still not violating his air nomad values, but to no avail, in 3920 BG, one village refused to provide Toz of the Hari Clan with tribute, causing all of the village's children to be abducted as punishment, the children were then executed, despite the efforts of Avatar Yameng, and their mothers died of sadness, further fueling the sentiment of Yameng as a terrible Avatar, in 3919 BG, the Kemurikage, spirits of the grieving mothers, began to hunt the clan leaders (warlords) of the fire islands, with the support of Avatar Yameng, The Kemurikage made it easier for Avatar Yameng to settle down the hostilities between the fire islands's clans, in 3918 BG, Avatar Yameng lashed out, entering the Avatar state, and violently taking down Toz's regime, while subsequently violating his beliefs as an airbender, which fueled the sentiment of him being a horrible Avatar even more, 6 months before his death, the destruction of Toz's regime inspired the other warring clans (warlords) to fight one another, then, Yameng sacrificed the health of his body and soul fighting a war against the warlords of the fire islands, with the help of the Kemurikage, he took down Toz's regime, violently, while subsequently violating his values as an air nomad, further fueling the sentiment of him as one of the worst avatars, Yameng eventually died in 3909 BG and was reincarnated into Avatar Tui of the Water Tribe.
