Virote is owner and manager of Virote's market. After being raised and primarily surrounded by benders his entire life, he has developed a bias against non-benders; he thinks that they are useless and lack important abilities to be able to get work done.
History[]
In 167 AG Virote hired the earthbender, Isra, to be his cashier and help him with other matters in up-keeping of his shop. Three years later she was abducted by Equalists, and he was forced to hire her sister, Akari. While he was not happy that she was a non-bender, he accepted her help as she volunteered to work for half of the pay her sister got.
Personality[]
Due to his somewhat elderly age, Virote is crabby and cranky. Due to his bias, Akari is frequently the victim of this behavior. Virote also loves his shop, and is proud of his work and will do whatever he needs to keep it well and running.
Abilities[]
Virote is a somewhat skilled earthbender, and uses his abilities to help him with the up-keeping of his shop, and other things throughout the day. Although he does think better of bending citizens; he himself is not particularly skilled in the bending art and could not use it to fight approaching attackers.
