Avatar Vaman, born in 1215 BG in Ba Sing Se, is the Avatar immediately succeeding Avatar Arrluk of the Northern Water Tribe and preceding Avatar Lua of Ember Island. He is also the Earth Kingdom Avatar succeeding Avatar Beluri of Garsai and preceding Avatar Gimli of Ba Sing Se. Avatar Vaman was born into the Royal Family of the Earth Kingdom. He is the son of the 32nd Earth King, Sensu II, and brother of the 33rd Earth King, Sud I. Vaman is one of the only Avatars to be born into a royal family and is a descendant of the first Earth King during the Avatar Dynasty, Avatar Beluri.
History[]
Avatar Vaman was born in Ba Sing Se to Earth King Sensu II. Vaman is the younger brother of the 33rd Earth King, Sud I. Vaman's era as the Avatar was a time of unprecedented peace and prosperity for the Earth Kingdom and the whole world. There were no major conflicts of war during his time. Vaman was known to be a kind person that wanted to help people in need, but also someone who was dedicated to his duty. He attended the coronation of his brother Sud in Ba Sing Se in 1100 BG upon the death of their father. Vaman was an Avatar that was well respected and looked up to by many. Near his birthplace of Ba Sing Se, there is a village named after him called Vaman Village.
Appearances in the Live Shows[]
Avatar Vaman appeared in Avatar the Last Airbender and the Legend of Korra only when Aang or Korra saw visions of all the Avatars. He is also shown when Aang regains the ability to go into the Avatar State during his fight with Fire Lord Ozai.

Avatar Vaman, like all Avatars, gave council and advice to his successors. He was a guide to Avatar Lua like how Avatar Roku was to Avatar Aang. Even though Vaman did not live during a time of war, he was known to give good advice and ways to restore balance. Vaman was contacted on numerous occasions by Avatar Jamphel and Avatar Imiq about the Great War that was going on at the time. He was also contacted by Avatar Kyoshi about Chin the Conqueror. Kyoshi wanted to speak with a few Earth Kingdom Avatars in hopes that they would understand her better. Ultimately, Vaman left a legacy by showing that even if there is no major conflicts you can still make an impact on the world and also his influence on others.
