History[]
Unirak was born in 702 BG, to unknown parents though his father was reigning chief during Avatar Ku Tei's life. Unirak was a boy the Thirty Year War ended sixteen years ago, his father taught him the political ongoings and chiefdom duties a leader must partake in.
Unirak's father died when he was merely fifteen years old in 687 BG, during this time Unirak had been targeted by a malicious rebel organization that operated in Iqaluit. They felt he was unfit and the leader wanted to dethrone him. A civil war raged from 687 BG - 684 BG, the rebellion leader, and his rebels were thwarted by loyalists and Avatar Ku Tei.
Which further established the reign of Cupun in 684 when the civil war ended, Unirak was given a lifelong scar. One that went from his left armpit down to his belly button, after a few assassinations failed of course.
In 682 BG, he met a woman through a party in which he later married her name was Amka she bore him a son in 681 BG they named him Unaraq. Three years later, Amka bore Unirak a daughter named Tanaraq.
His daughter was born with an infection in the blood she would not live very long. With the help of the aspect of Akna, Tanaraq was blessed with life and her hair went from black to white. Amka's patron deity became Akna the Mother Bear after she permitted her daughter to live a long life.
Fifth Nation Raids[]
Between 674 BG and 675 BG, a war occurred between Iqaluit and Satkut, there were raids on small settlements across the South Pole where the Fifth Nation would successfully take a few before the resistance arrived and beat them back.
The Fifth Nation grew bolder throughout the year taking Ikagnak in the Nunavit region and Sisuuk in the Unalak region. Pressuring Iqaluit on both sides in 675 BG a year leader they finally laid siege to the capital of the Southern Water Tribe.
Iminaurak planned to move the capital from Satkut to Iqaluit if he successfully conquered the South Pole and sat on the throne of the palace he would command the South's armies. The pirates broke through the walls of Iqaluit spreading into the city killing warriors and civilians alike. Eventually reaching the palace before too many casualties forced them to retreat. One of Pirate Lord's lieutenants invaded the palace with a group while the chief was unidentifiable by the pirates and the royal guards defended it. Unaraq's and Tanaraq's mother Amka, was killed during the siege, the lieutenant forced himself upon her and strangled her after he satisfied himself.
Royal Wedding[]
Unirak was present at Tulok and Tanaraq's wedding, where Tulok married Tanaraq and unified the relations between both tribes. He accompanied his daughter down the aisle and watched her as she married the prince of the North. The arrangement of Tanaraq's marriage with Tulok was solely for political ties with the Northern Water Tribe.
Often different families were chosen to marry between royals for this purpose it was the only way to ensure 100% loyalty to one another. Three years later, Unirak and his armies joined Cupun and his armies in the fight against the Qiangda Kingdom.

However, her father blocked her attack and Unirak had her arrested.
After the scene he witnessed that was caused by Nuttatatik that led to her second arrest, two days later, Unirak declared Aloi a part of the Royal Family. He convinced his son to propose to the girl and carve her a unique betrothal necklace. Uniting them both to be wed; he later served as the man who declared their wedding officially. Five years later, Aloi bore Unirak his second grandchild, an heir to the Southern Tribesmen throne. Unirak attended Rong Yan's wedding and was seen sitting next to a his son Unaraq, his daughter-in-law Aloi, and Palartok who was released from prison upon the request of the Avatar.
