Tenten is the only child of the Fire Nation nobleman, Ryu, and his wife, the former Shamen, Kim Bhanti of the Fire Nation, the great-granddaughter of the late High General Shinu, as well as the great-granddaughter of the Shaman of Bhanti Island; in addition, she is the maternal relative of the Bhanti themselves, and has inherited many of their spiritual powers. A child soldier, she is one of the youngest officers in the whole of the Fire Nation, and is fairly average in terms of her abilities; despite that, her control over her flames are undisputed. In truth, she had multiple still-born brothers and sisters, being the only one of her parents' children to survive past their childhood years; due to this, she was pampered and treated like she was made of delicate glass from the time of her childhood by her family's servants. Her circumstances were similar to that of Toph Beifong, yet at the same time they were different; whereas Toph's parents were still alive, Tenten's parents were dead, with Toph being raised by her parents, and Tenten being raised by her family's servants.
History[]
Early life[]
Tenten was born to her late parents, Lord Ryu, the grandson of High General Shinu, and Lady Kim Bhanti, the granddaughter of the female Shaman of Bhanti Island of the Fire Nation; named for her eldest still-born sister, Tenten. She spent the rest of her childhood, nurtured by her family estate's servants, and grew up without parents; despite that, she had an joy-filled childhood. Though she had fairly average skills, in regards to her firebending, Tenten possessed a deep understanding of firebending itself rooted in the basics, which lent itself to the depth of control she possessed over the hotness and intensity of her flames. At a young age, she enlisted in the United Forces, and would rise to the rank of Captain in only three years, an impressive feat considering her height and age; at some point, she would meet Princess Korra II and become best friends.

Destruction of the First Division[]
During their return to Republic City, with Tenzin asking them over the radio for their help, Korra asked her father if they should; reluctantly she yielded as her father had decided to accept the offer from the Avatar. Tenten was also notably concerned, and having followed her gut feeling for years, felt notably uneasy about his decision; however before either of them could decide to argue against said decision, they were both pinned to the spot with a sharp look from General Iroh. little furious but not willing to not follow orders, the young Princess reluctantly followed through with their orders. When they arrived, they were met with only silence. However, this so-called silence lasted for only a brief moment, as one of their fleet's battleships blew up. That explosion caused Tenten to detect that something was extremely wrong; after spotting the biplanes that the Equalists' movement were using, Tenten knew that she was right in trusting her gut feeling. Sometime during the fight, both Iroh and Korra II were flung from their shared battleship, with both of them being rescued by Avatar Korra.
Taking Republic City Back[]
With the destruction of their fleet, and no clear way to enter the bay without their ships; they resorted to hiding in the sewers as they had no other options. While General Iroh tried to stop Commander Bumi from bringing his fleet back to the bay of Republic City, out of worry that they would be blown up by the biplane's used by the Equalists' movement; the others were trying to make a plan on how to take down the biplanes.

While awaiting the arrival of Kuvira's army, Korra began a sparring section with one of the soldiers; in the middle of their sparring section, both of them were interrupted by the sight of Kuvira's mecha appearing. Aghast at the sight, both of them run towards Iroh and the Avatar; being shot down by two of Kuvira's troops in the process.
Appearance[]
A slightly-above average, girl, Tenten has shoulder-length black/chocolate brown hair and piercing teal eyes with a slight hint of violet to them. Possessing a pale, snow-white complexion, that looks like freshly-fallen snow, she is usually seen wearing a white double-breasted military jacket, with black military boots; she styles her hair at the back of her head in a complex bun, completed with a red ribbon to honor her Fire Nation heritage.
Personality[]
A pragmatic person, she is not commonly seen goofing off, and is usually absorbed in one thing or another; extremely serious, she is very noble in her intentions, and doesn't hold her power as a firebender over ordinary civilians, even saving a non-bending citizen and her two children from falling to their death. A chivalrous person, she is notably more respectful to women than men, and prioritizes their lives as equal; a respectful person, she has complimentary conduct, and rarely-if-ever steps out of line or talks out of turn. When she does so, it's in grave situations, where she worries for the lives of civilians.
Abilities[]
Tenten is an average but extremely skilled firebender, drawing her fighting style from the White Crane fighting style, which values evasive maneuvers over standing still like most Earthbenders so. The White Crane emphasizes swift movement, much like those of Airbenders, whose physiology Tenten extensively studied at length, having developed the style from hearing about Airbenders and watching the Airbender Tenzin with his permission; a skilled weapon user, she is able to most effectively use the style with a bladed scythe, or any bladed weapon at all. Unique to her, she is able to infuse pure spiritual energy or pure chi in the points of her finger to use this style without a bladed weapon, damaging their organs internally. A skilled chi-blocker, she can infuse chi into the palm of her hand to block somebody's chi instead of pinching them like most chi-blockers do. Also uniquely usable to her is the white flames that ensures when she firebends; this unique quality having been inherited from her mother makes her cautious of losing control. Incredibly fast, and swift on her feet like a natural airbender, Tenten possesses incredible strength that is not always apparent to her enemies.
