Tempest is the second child and the only son of Aang and Toph, and grandson of the late Lao and Poppy Beifong. He resides on Air Temple Island with the rest of his family. The young airbender has two sisters; an older sister, Aura, and a younger sister named Celeste.

Early life[]
Meelo was born in 113 AG to Aang and Toph and grew up as one of the last remaining airbenders in the world, the others being his father and his sisters, Aura and later, Celeste.
When his little sister gained the ability to airbend like him and Aura, he grew jealous and lashed out at her by yelling that airbenders don't need snooty and disgusting earthbenders for a sister, and told her that he didn't want her as a sister anymore. This broke Celeste's heart, and she ended up running away to the South Pole, to visit her grandparents for awhile. Tempest, on the other hand, got grounded for two months and had to apologize.
