Suluk is a minor character in the fanon, Avatar: The Legacy of Rong Yan. Suluk, is the ambassador of the Southern Water Tribe, who was kept locked away from the world by Geng Gao.

History[]

Suluk, was born in the Southern Water Tribe, to a noble family. Suluk, was spoiled as he was an only child. At the age of eight, it was discovered that Suluk, was smarter than the other children within his class. He was transferred to another educational facility within the huge city, where the gifted children studied. Years later he graduated from the same facility at the age of seventeen.

Going to a higher education facility near the palace sector of Iqaluit, he majored in politics. At the age of 22, he graduated eventually meeting Prince Unirak becoming great friends with him. Years pass by as Unirak becomes chief of the South after his father's death, Suluk is chosen as an ambassador. Unirak and Suluk's friendship is so strong that it is revealed to Unaraq later that if he was too young to lead if Unirak ever passed away, Suluk will become regent of the South.

As one of the ambassadors sent across the world he was tasked to undertake a journey to the southern Oma Kingdom provinces, Tong, Shiwei, East Jurong, West Jurong, Zhuhai, and Wushan during the past few years. When rumors went out that the Water Tribes were attacking some towns in the Oma Kingdom Suluk among others were sent to the provinces to deny such rumors and the men must have been an act of the North.

Imprisonment[]

Suluk, later reached the village of Sichuan, the town was taken over by the noble Geng Gao. Who had said the same exact tale to everyone else who came through the village that a man sold him the ownership of the town.

Suluk, had discovered of Geng Gao's act of murder, so Geng Gao captured and imprisoned Suluk. Suluk was kept under Lieshi's basement. Only being fed once a day and sometimes only four times a week.

When Team Avatar arrived in Sichuan village they had no idea about Suluk at all. Geng Gao warned them about a hermit in the forest that set up traps to keep trespassers away from his propety. While Rong Yan and Unaraq explored the forest trying to locate the hermit's home they ran to a number of traps, while Aloi found the home from the air she discovered the home was also filled with a few traps.

She later discovered the home was dusty, and untouched for good amount of time searching the abandoned home she found documents detailing the person who owned the home was an ambassador from the Southern Water Tribe. Returning to Unaraq he couldn't put his finger on who his father sent to the southern Oma Kingdom.

When they returned to Sichuan they spoke with Geng Gao who told them he never said to scour the forest in search of the hermit only that he warned them and knew nothing else. Questioning Tanaraq who stayed within the village she reminded Unaraq that their father's best friend Suluk was sent to the southern Oma Kingdom.

Rescued[]

When Avatar Rong Yan, fell asleep within the inn he met the Royal Lady who was none other than a past life Avatar Ilah, she hinted that an evil corrupted the village she built along with a friend of hers, her former earthbending master. She hinted the evil as Geng Gao killing Lieshi and tossing out Pigu the austistic man who wandered about the village at night.

Eventually Team Avatar, snuck along with Pigu over to the cellar door outside of the home and found Suluk imprisoned below. Where they rescued him with soundbending acting as barrier to muffle the sounds in the basement. All while Tanaraq broke the locks to the door, and chains with ice. Finally, Geng Gao returned below to the basement to torture Suluk again and threaten him. Only to be attacked by Aloi and Rong Yan while Unaraq and Tanaraq freed a malnourished Suluk from his bonds.

Once freed Geng Gao was disoriented with soundbending and thrown into the same cell he kept Suluk in while Team Avatar sent for reinforcements from Tianzhu the capital of Wushan. After the arrest of Geng Gao, Pigu is given his home back also while handing out the hidden supplies locked away by Geng Gao in the basement where he kept Suluk. In the morning, Pigu wrote a letter to Duizhang a friend of Lieshi and Pigu who owned Lieshi a favor and would definitely give Suluk a free ride back to Iqaluit.

Back Home[]

Suluk, was dropped off and escorted to the harbor of Tianzhu where Team Avatar placed Suluk into Lieshi and Pigu's friend Duizhang in Tianzhu. Granting Suluk a free ride to the Southern Water Tribe where the cargo ship was sailing too.

Spiritual Relative[]

Suluk and Rong Yan are spiritually related, Suluk is a descendant of the Northern Water Tribe's Avatar Arrluk about an Avatar cycle ago. He does not know much about his ancestry other than Arrluk was his ancestor. Rong Yan is shocked to learn that he was spiritually related to Suluk and garner a bit of compassion and care for the man.

Abilities[]

Suluk, was born a non-bender, though he is described as carrying a club. When he was found imprisoned he no longer had the Water Tribe club, as Geng Gao most likely took it away.

At the end of chapter four, Suluk does not get his club back. Not much is known if Suluk was good with a club or not.
