Pharaoh Shabaka is the fourth Pharaoh of the Isoro Empire's 20th Dynasty. Shabaka is a minor character in the fanon Avatar: Civil Strife.
History[]
Shabaka was born in 1969 BG to Pharaoh Rakhet and Queen Consort Nefer, in Bekini. Shabaka was actually the second-born in his lineage, but his mother suffered a loss. His older brother was a stillborn at birth, which led to Shabaka becoming the crowned Prince despite being the second-born. Shabaka was kept from his other siblings where he spent time with his tutors as he learned skills that'd make him an effective Pharaoh.
Years later, he met the love of his life through arranged marriage, Asenath was the daughter of a governor of the city of Bekini. Eventually marrying, Shabaka took power after his father's death in 1949 BG. Fifteen years into his reign his wife gave birth to their first son Setka. Four years later, after Setka their second child named after his mother, then finally Asenath gave birth to Shabaka's final child Zaphnath.
In the early years of his reign he carried low self esteem because he wasn't sure if he could do this. Eventually, the days got easier and he got a hang of things with the help of his advisers. Shabaka is known as one of the greatest rulers of his dynasty, as Bekini is living through an era of prominence since the beginning of the 20th Dynasty.
Coming of Age[]
Shabaka along with Setka, and Zaphnath arrived as guests to Omashu for the celebration of Chu Zi's coming of age party. There he spectated as the princess showed the citizens that she was a formidable future Queen. Remaining in the background he participated in the party at the end of the night where he and his sons feasted on Omashu delicacies. The next morning Shabaka, was the person who came to take Chu Zi to the carriage where his son convinced the girl to join them.
Abilities[]
Shabaka was born a sandbender, he learned to master his element by the time he was 17. Throughout his childhood his father also made sure that he learned other skills like archery, diplomacy, politics, economics, and other things that would assist him once he became Pharaoh.
