Sessi was born in 158 AG to an Unknown Man and Yue II of Kyoshi Island. She grew up in her grandmother’s ancestral village and was a Earth Bender. When she was 8 years old, she started to train to join the Kyoshi Warriors like her mother and grandmother before her. She ended up becoming the leader of the warriors in 177 AG as she was the oldest girl on the team.
Later on in 197 AG, she had a daughter, Nami, with Mako.

Sessi was born in 158 AG to a unknown man from Koi Harbor and Yue II, daughter of Sokka and Suki. Yue II only wanted a child and not a romantic partner so Sessi never met her father. She was revealed to be a Earth Bender, something which didn’t shock her mother as most people on the island were from the Earth Kingdom. When Sessi was 8 years old, she started to train to join her mother and the Kyoshi Warriors.
When Kuvira was creating the Earth Empire, the island wanted to be separate from them. Kuvira promised that after they took over the United Republic of Nations, they would crush the little island. This didn’t happen however. In 177 AG when Sessi was 16, Team Avatar came to visit the Island. Sessi attacked them, thinking of them to be villains. Sessi was distrustful of them during their stay, however started to warm up to them. She ended up becoming the Leader of the Kyoshi Warrios as she was the oldest girl after her mother’s retirement
In 178 AG, her mother married General Iroh and moved to the Fire Nation. Sessi did not wish to follow her mother however, due to her wanting to stay on the island. In 197 AG, Sessi visited Republic City, where she re-met Mako. The two started to talk. Mako was away from his wife and son a lot so he had felt distant. The two had a one night stand. When Sessi became pregnant, they both decided it would be easier if Sessi claimed the father was someone else and went to Kyoshi Island. She ended up retiring from the role as leader in 200 AG.
Personality[]
Sessi was a smart and sometimes serious lady. She could be stubborn at times, and distrustful of others. First impressions were a big thing to her, and if someone made a bad one, she wouldn’t like them. Sessi was also quick and clever.
Abilities[]
Earth Bending[]
Sessi was the only Earth Bender in the Kyoshi Warriors. She never used her abilities turning training, however did use them if necessary. She was a skilled Earth Bender, after learning from Avatar Korra.
