Separate Lives is a comic book which consists of three chapters. This comic takes place 8 years since "After the Hundred Year War Book 4 - Home" ends and after Adventure gang adventures around the world between 116 and 119 AG also ends. All of these chapters show gang struggles and relief in life and also shows how they all begin to build a life and getting the kids and living the life happily or unhappily.

Chapters[]
- First chapter - Miki's Life: It shows Miki's life after she settled in Northern Water Tribe and married her husband. Miki was gave birth to her daughter Sakako who is an earthbender. This chapter also show how Miki felt real guilty because she hate and even attacked all Earthbenders before just because Nazaki was evil Earthbender who killed her friend. Miki was try to tell her daughter how she behave before but she was afraid that he daughter may be really disappointed in her mother's behavior when Miki was a teenager. Chapter also show how Miki really miss her friends and also her deceased friend Sinon who was died 9 years ago, Miki struggles to see her friends again was very big and very strong, she is also miss their adventure and want to repeat that adventures with her daughter as shown through the comic. First chapter ends as Miki told her daughter about everything and how she behave to Earthbenders. To her surprise her young daughter understand and told her mother that she would do the same if she was in that situations. Miki kissed her daughter in the forehead and hug her at the end of the chapter.
- Second chapter - Rikka's Life: This chapter follows Rikka and her life in Northern Water Tribe again, after few years living in Southern Water Tribe due to her mother death. Rikka now living in Northern Water Tribe again and everything remind her of Mother, every part of the tribe almost everything. Her chapter shows her struggle to try live here and not be sad about loosing her mother due to mother's illness. She felt really guilty also because he didn't save Sinon at the time and instead that she get lost in big Ba Sing Se at the time when Nazaki killed Sinon. Her chapter is all about try to calm her mind and not to think about don't be able to help Sinon 9 years ago. He try to stabilize her mind and she find a young waterbender boyfriend but she was very impatient and she wants to get married soon, after few months of relationship her boyfriend left her because her impatient spirit. Rikka after try to stabilize her mind by using her healing to prevent her from thinking about Sinon and her mother. After some time she heals herself and forgive herself for not healing Sinon, she figured out that she didn't know that would happen and that is not her fault for getting lost in Ba Sing Se. Her chapter ending by sitting at the edge of the big ice platform and telling herself that everything will be fine from now
- Third chapter - Saddik's Life: Unlike his friends, Saddik didn't go home after gang adventures instead of that he stayed in Earth Kingdom and continue to help villages to rebuild their places after Miki destroyed it few years ago. Saddik feels that his adventures isn't over so she decided to rent a boat and go around the world around, she visit some places that he didn't with adventure gang, she build his own villages at the small island between Earth Kingdom and Northern Water Tribe. She accept every who was abused by their parents and want to live peacefully in his village because he know how it feels when parents abuse you like Saddik father was abuse him. She find some children who ran away from their homes and Saddik let them to live in his village. This village was called "Saddik's heaven" because life in that village was really a heaven. Later he met amazing teenager girl about 18 years old who came to his village when her mother try to kill her, he accept her in his villages but he also feel in love with her. Later they both find out that they love each other and they kissed. After half year they got married and have two beautiful children. Chapter ends when Miki and Rikka came to his village and reunite with him after 8 years.

- This is the first comic based on the After the Hundred Year War series.
- This comic is supposed to also contain Sinon's life in afterlife but idea is declined.
- Rikka and Miki both live in Northern Water Tribe but they don't really spend time together due to obligations although they both miss each other.
- Saddik's village is on the island named Parachino.
