Senzin is the head monk of the Northern Air Temple, as well as White Lotus member in TLAT.
History[]
Early Life[]
During his early years, he spent his time as a playful little monk. However, when the council discovered he excelled in airbending, he left his childhood behind. He was sort of the best pupil in the temple, even compared to some of the adults. He was attentive and very quick to learn techniques. Even his spiritual side was powerful. The monks gave him special treatment or at least, until Avatar Gatton came around.
The monks felt sorry for Gatton and gave him attention and tried to help him; however, they now all but ignored Senzin. This started Senzin to malice the Avatar. He would often taunt and antagonize Gatton. Once Gatton got the gist of airbending, their rivalry was much less one-sided. It ended, however during the five hundred and fifty-first Air Nomad Games. Gatton cheated when he was winning and launched a fireball at Senzin during sky bison polo, which ended his training in airbending.
Senzin soon re-focused on airbending and was able to earn his tattoos when he was 19. This was fairly young for a monk of his stature. He worked his way up and made his way to the Council of Elders and even got a pupil that was his own, Cori. Senzin worked hard enough that he became Head Monk of the temple, though growing manipulative.
Book 2 Rise of the Deathbenders[]
The monk was greatly concerned about the THIEVES stealing children; he even put the temple on lock-down at one point. Senzin was not exactly pleased to see his old rival return, until he discovered the Avatar and his friends could be a tool in finding the lost children. He quickly allied himself with the White Lotus and followed them. He his currently hunting down the THIEVES with them.
Abilities[]
Senzin is quite the master when it comes to airbending. He specializes in moves dealing with long ranges. Time has taken little tole on him, replacing his power loss with strategy.
Personality[]
Senzin can come off inconsiderate and cold at first, but this is not the case. Senzin cares very much about his people and though manipulative is all ways on the right side.
Trivia[]
- Senzin was once going to be called Paang, but kuzon decided on a Tenzin combination.
- This character has been questioned about his motives.
- It is unsure if he will stay with the White Lotus or go neutral.
