R'Kang is a minor character in the fanon Avatar: The Legacy of Rong Yan. He's the hegumen of the Baiyan Air Temple.
History[]
There nothing much known about him other than he's usually the one to go to, to settle political disputes that can result in the death of citizens like wars and such. He's a part of the war crime council that is involved with war criminals which is very unlike for an Air Nomad.
R'Kang has been a Hegumen at the Baiyan Air Temple since the Thirty Year War where he took a liking to be a mediator between political world leaders. R'Kang was involved in the ceasefire between the Kingsmen and the Northern Tribesmen to allow Ku Tei to defeat Senlin. Eventually, being the same mediator decades later in his later years for some reason to allow Rong Yan to finish what Ku Tei started.

R'Kang was born an airbender and mastered airbending as a young man at the age of 15. He found a knack for politics at a young age through the teachings of his guardian. And heavily involved himself politically and spiritually to earn his Hegumen role.
