Qi Yu is an admiral of the Haijun Kingdom Navy, and is a member of the Haijun Naval Council led by four admirals. He is a minor character in Avatar: Civil Strife.


History[]

Not much is known about Admiral Qi Yu, he was promoted to the Haijun Naval Council as the youngest admiral at the age of 35, he's served the Haijun Kingdom Navy for thirty-five years. Currently Admiral Qi Yu and his fleet are stationed on Dao province inside Houhu where they control the waters of Chuan Bay and near Dao province.

General Weixing hopes to receive naval assistance from Admiral Yu, in an attempt to liberate the city of Bei Fu in Yu province to initiate the assault on the state's current government, the Oma Kingdom. The province can be retaken since Yu is surrounded by Haijun-controlled provinces, with only Oma-controlled Gongzhu to the south.

Abilities[]

Qi Yu was born a non-bender but has mastered the skill of Mao yishu, and uses his She Mao as extension of his arms. Qi Yu has proven to be deadly with his weapon of choice, and has garnered several kills with the weapon, it is engraved with his name and an inscription that reads, "No hero is above fear".

Qi Yu is great at negotating and has administrative skills, and being talented when it comes to strategies for naval operations. Often times having to work with the Council of Five upon orders from the Earth King.
