Pai Jun is the Overseer of the Yanzhao, he's a minor character in Avatar: Civil Strife.
History[]
Pai Jun was made Overseer after the last Overseer's duties were changed by Wanggoudexin, once the previous Overseer was out and on to better thing. Pai Jun took over and the operations went normally and smoothly as planned, he took hold and reformed many things while under the supervision of Earth King Shuicheng.
During the teenage years of Avatar Avani's life, soon after her father instilled his knowledge of earthbending onto her. Pai Jun worked closely with the young Avatar on missions that involved toppling governors who didn't bend knee or warchiefs from smaller tribes that started to work in secret with the Oma Kingdom. Along with other missions like the abduction of valuable marks who needed reeducation.
In 1915, he along with an elite platoon of Yanzhao are sent out to find Avani, and Shuaige's company and escort them to the capital of Pingyao province, Taiyuan. Captain Shuaige's company were escorting armaments to the city for Governor Xingren Wuqi for the war effort, he and his benders are known to burrow underground while the non-benders came out of the trees and surrounded the small group of eighty Haijunese soldiers. The younger ones were horrified at the sight of the spies while their cold gazes pierced their souls. However, Avani, growing up around this Order saw them as allies and friends and welcomed them with open arms.

Pai Jun was born an earthbender and mastered the element while under the training for the Yanzhao. Where he spent years training in until he was officially made an agent. Once an agent he learned many tricks from the senior members that made him skilled at his bending style and eventually his skills that were learned while in service of the Order granted him the Overseer rank after thirty years of hard work.
