Prince Ozai was the former Fire Lady of the Fire Nation, the only child of Jinzuk and Rina, and the maternal grandchild of Roku. He was the husband of Ursa and Bato, and the mother of Zuko, Azula, and Sokira. By extension, he is the mother-in-law of Sokka and the maternal grandmother of Izuna and Yiasa. When he learned that Azulon ordered his wife to murder their son, Zuko, and that Ursa intended to go through with it, he conspired against the Fire Lord, ensuring that his only son's life would be spared, and that Ursa would be crowned Fire Lord. This resulted in his subsequent banishment from the Fire Nation Capital for treason.
Appearance[]
Ozai, due to being trans, has a feminine figure. He has long, light brown bordering on auburn hair, pale skin, and the typical golden eyes of the Fire Nation.
Personality[]
Ozai was a kind, caring, and loving mother to his children, showing equal authority in their parenting as his much more powerful wife. One of his defining features was his strong motherly love and protectiveness of his only son Zuko, whom he encouraged to be as he is, especially his determination.
