| — Ozai to Ursa in "The Revolution." |
Phoenix King Ozai is a minor character in Avatar: Guardian.
Before Guardian[]
Ozai was defeated by Avatar Aang in 100 AG and lost his Firebending. Afterwords, he was imprisoned by Fire Lord Zuko. He was frequently interrogated about the whereabouts of Ursa, but he would never divulge the information.
Guardian[]
Ozai is liberated by the Phoenix Warriors at the beginning of the series, and remains missing from the Fire Nation. He is seen talking to Jiang Rha about his past, and their shared hatred of their brothers.
Non-Canon Appearances[]
Ozai appears in the non-canon fanon crossover Clash of Worlds 2. He is first shown singing Miley Cyrus' 7 Things, much to the disgust of Jiang Rha. He is shown in the next part when he forms the Phoenix Karaoke-thon, much to the enjoyment of the Phoenix Warriors and Phoenix Islanders. Jiang Rha is disgusted yet again, especially when Ozai begins singing Corben Bleu's Push It. Ozai then fires Jiang in place of Hoshizu, another accomplished general. Apparently, the night was a huge success, as it was the gathering place for many fanon characters towards the end of the chapter.
