Nirvaasan is a minor character in the fanon Avatar: The Legacy of Rong Yan. He's an exiled Air Nomad from the Baiyan Air Temple.
History[]
Nirvaasan came from the Baiyan Air Temple, it is unknown what Nirvaasan did to be exiled. However, criminals are often tattooed above their left eyebrows which indicate their exiled monks. In the nomadic language the tattoo says, "Exiled by Nam".
Siwang Yaoqing[]
With Jian Po creating a reputation for himself with a number of heads he's eliminated, his partner Olug only having killed people for justifiable reason. Eventually months later, they meet a thieving exile from the Baiyan Air Temple that they take in as one of their own. The monk was being abused by Jian Po but the boy refused to kill. Keeping the lessons taught by monks sacred Nirvaasan just wants to steal food for survival but has caught himself with the wrong people.
Jushi hunts them down and stalks them when Jian Po physically and verbally attacks Nirvaasan and screams at him to kill the old man if he refuses to pay whatever tax he wants the others to pay. Nirvaasan refuses to do so, Jian Po shoves the old man and tries to kill him but Jushi jumps in and fights back in defense of the old man.
Olug defends a downed Jian Po but then has a change of heart when he finds out he's fighting a fellow brother and feels it isn't worth it. Instead he defends the Hamian sandbender against Jian Po when he's unconscious. Olug suffocates Jian Po and flees the city with Nirvaasan after Jushi lets them go.

Nirvaasan was born an airbender but has not yet mastered it at 14, it is likely he was near the 20th level of airbending though.
