Melody Northuldra is a submissive waterbender born to Bato and Ozai Northuldra as their second child. She is the younger sister of Maya, and the youngest maternal half-sister of Zuko and Azula. By extension, she is the sister-in-law of Sokka, Kyomi, and Katara, the maternal great-granddaughter of Avatar Roku, Toph Beifong's adopted younger sister, and the aunt of Saoirse, Amaya, Kida, Kiara, and Yue ll.
Melody was named in honor of her late maternal great-grandmother, Melody Hira'a, who died when her mother was ten years old.

Birth and Early Life[]
Melody is the second daughter (b. 104 AG) of Avatar Ozai and Bato of the Southern Water Tribe, born at the North Pole in the Spirit Oasis four years after the end of the war, under Tui and La's watchful protection. A few weeks after her birth, Melody returned to the South Pole with her parents and was raised alongside her older brother and sisters. When she turned six years old, Melody gained a niece named Saoirse, another niece named Amaya a year later, Kiara coming along when she was eleven. Aura coming along when she six as well, Tempest when she turned nine, and Celeste when she was eleven, like Kiara.
