Luca's Odyssey is a fanfiction series created by TwoSling that follows the story of Avatar Luca in his journey to become a fully-realized avatar. Luca is joined by Ryuka, Prince Kuzon, and Vayu. The series will have 4 books.

Pre-History

What happened to the Major Characters

Team Avatar is given their own land in Republic City for them to live and train in. Jinora and Kai got married and had 2 children~ Jinai and Kainora. Meelo became Defense Secretary of the United Republic of Nations, which he knew was the only way to join the army as an airbender due to their beliefs that they can't attack offensively. Ikki and Rohan both became airbending mentors for the new generation of airbenders.

What happened to the Antagonists

Most of Korra's enemies who didn't die in the series mostly died due to old age. Zaheer died to a vacuum chamber malfunction, whose purpose is to limit air inside his prison to make him roam free while avoiding him from airbending powerful moves.

Kuvira, on the other hand, had good morals in the prison cell, which eventually decreased her sentence to 70 years. Korra was fine with it because she knew that Kuvira is still a good person who just took her plans too far. Kuvira would be around 100 years old then. When Kuvira was finally free, she gave old Korra a hug and moved to Kyoshi Island, eventually establishing a Metalbending Academy in which Avatar Luca will be training in.

Prologue

It was 250 AG. The world was shocked when they learned that Avatar Korra has died. Kainora, Jinora's son, has confirmed the rumors surrounding her death after hearing it from his mother. His sister, Jinai, was a news anchor at Cabbage Network, and was the second one to learn about the confirmation. The world mourned her death for she has made a lot of achievements in her lifetime.

Everyone who has been with her until her demise had the chance to give tribute to her. Kuvira, an enemy of her decades ago, also gave tribute saying that Korra has saved the Earth Kingdom from her hands and that Korra has helped her change while she's in prison for 70 long years.

4 years later, After 93 long years, the White Lotus Organization will search once again for the new Avatar, born somewhere in the lands of the Earth Kingdom. An airbender named Kelsang, who was named after Avatar Kuruk's Airbending mentor, leads this expedition.

Summary

Kelsang has arrived in Yu Dao in the morning when he stumbled upon Luca. When he was being interviewed, the He was surprised about how Luca gave them around 120 facts about past avatars. This was not enough though because the real basis was his bending abilities. Unfortunately for Luca, He showed nothing.

One evening later, Luca found out that he can earthbend. He is a very impatient boy though, so he ran that evening to the White Lotus HQ to tell Kelsang about it. Ayala, her mother, searched for him while leaving the door open, not knowing that metalbending thieves are out in the night. It has been an hour but Ayala failed to find Luca. She came back home and saw two men looting her house. She tried to stop them but she was then held hostage.

Kelsang saw Luca in the middle of the night and brought him back to his home because it was late in the evening, but when they came home, they found out that Luca's mother was held hostage. Kelsang negotiated with the thieves to spare Ayala. They agreed but stabbed her thrice anyways. This angered Luca so much to the extent that he triggered his Avatar State. He has no control of it though. His anger against the thieves caused his avatar state to retaliate and eventually injured the thieves badly with his power.

That was enough evidence to prove that he's indeed the Avatar. It was eventually announced to the world hours later through a post made by the White Lotus Organization which says: We found the Avatar. You gotta deal with it!
