Kyomi is a dominant earthbender born into royalty in the city of Omashu. Kyomi is the great-granddaughter of King Bumi, the granddaughter of Princess Kalika, wife of Maya, and the sire of Yue ll. She met Maya during the latter's eighteenth birthday celebration and it was love at first sight for the young couple, with Yue's birth following four years later.

Early Life[]
Kyomi was born in the city of Omashu, as an Earth Kingdom princess and the great-granddaughter of King Bumi. As the heir to the throne of Omashu and granddaughter of the previous Avatar, Kyomi was expected to lead by example and rely on her servants for everything. This didn't settle well with Kyomi, so at only sixteen years old, she ran away from home and traveled the world to find what she really wanted.
For two years, Kyomi traveled through the rest of the Earth Kingdom, the Air Temples, Fire Nation, and Water Tribes before hearing news of Maya's birthday being celebrated at the South Pole.
Meeting Maya and Later Life[]

Kyomi met Maya during the latter's eighteenth birthday celebration at the Southern Water Tribe capital city. The two instantly felt a spark and their relationship bloomed that resulted in marriage and the birth of their daughter, Yue.
Now that she had a family of her own, Kyomi was finally content and decided to stay with Maya and her family in the South Pole, where their daughter unlocked incredible spiritual powers, much to her and Maya's shock and joy.
