Prince Kuruk was a dominant waterbending master, the Avatar immediately succeeding Avatar Aisling and predecessor of Avatar Kalika. He is also the Water Tribe Avatar successor of Avatar Alcyone. Kuruk was the husband of Kamaria, a waterbender from the Southern Tribe, father of Kyoka, grandfather of Melody, and great-grandfather of Ozai.
History[]
Kuruk was born into royalty in the Northern Water Tribe. He was the son of the current chief and chieftess at the time in 0 BG. During his time as the Avatar there was peace throughout the world which is accredited to the Avatar before him, Aisling. Throughout most of his life, Kuruk was a very arrogant and boastful Avatar, challenging random people to bending matches and other various feats of strength. He always thought that he would never settle down due to his normal way of life. This changed when the New Moon Celebration where the two Water Tribes meet occurred. This is when Kuruk met the love of his life and future fiancée, Kamaria. The two married and later, Kamaria gave birth to a daughter, Kyoka sometime after his 17th birthday at the Northern Water Tribe. He died in 11 AG, which resulted in the birth of Princess Kalika, the Earth Kingdom Avatar.
