Kukri was born to a multicultural family who lives on Air Temple Island with the rest of Korra's children as well as Tenzin's family.
Kukri was Korra and Mako's third child and second son.
Kukri was born in a hospital in Republic City.
Birth[]
When Kukri was born, Korra thought that he was a firebender. Korra was saddened when she was told that Kukri was a Firebender and told Mako that all she wanted was a Waterbending child. Mako attempted to comfort Korra, and told Korra that they will attempt once again to try to have a Waterbending child.
After Korra and Mako agreed on trying to get a Waterbending child, two doctors came in and asked Mako if he had said that his father was an Earthbender. Mako was confused why the doctor asked such a question, but then she announced according to DNA testing that Kukri was an Earthbender.
Korra and Mako were shocked that it was possible to pass down a different element than you have. The doctor then explained to them the probabilities of getting bending types according to their backgrounds.
Personality[]
Not much is known about Kukri's personality due to his young age.
