Kiallera is the third child and youngest daughter of Aang and Katara and the current leader of the Air Nation. She lives on Air Temple Island with her husband Ping and is the mother of their four children: daughters Yelihn, and Khiyanneh, and sons Zara, and Rillue. Unlike her older brother, a nonbender, and sister, a waterbender, Kia took after her father in terms of bending.
Despite being the first airbender born in over a hundred years, Kiallera isn't arrogant about it and instead displays a calm, collected, grounded, and mature personality. Whenever her siblings accused her of being Aang's favorite, she stood her ground and pointed out that they were no better by never telling Aang about their jealousy and instead taking it out on her.

Early life[]
Kiallera was born in 119 AG to Aang and Katara as their youngest daughter. From an early age, Aang trained her in the traditions of an Air Nomad, neglecting her older brother and sister in the process. As a result, Bumi and Kya came to resent Kia and started using her as a scapegoat for Aang's negligence following their father's death.

Kia inherited most of her father's mementos prior to Aang's death. As a child, Kiallera was often the victim of Bumi and Kya's teasing, who liked to play rough games with him, and Kia was supportive of Kya when she revealed her sexual orientation to her.
At some point in her life, Kiallera met Ping, who expressed a desire to join the Air Acolytes and they soon began dating. Following their marriage and moving to Air Temple Island, Kiallera fell out of contact with her mother and siblings to focus on her family and the newly restored Air Nation.
At three varying points, she and Ping had three children: Yelihn, Khiyanneh, and Zara, with Kiallera being pregnant with their fourth child.
