He was the 191st avatar and the 49th air avatar, born to an era of peace and prosperity for the whole world.
History[]
Early Life[]
He was born and raised in the southern air temple in an era of peace, like most male airbending avatars (with a few exceptions being born at the northern air temple), he was one of two avatars in history to be a cakebender, the other being Avatar Tian (171st avatar and the 44th air avatar), after he was confirmed the avatar in 721 BG at age 16, like most avatars, he set out to master the other three elements, eventually becoming a fully realized avatar in 720 BG at age 17.
Guidance from Avatar Tian, strong spiritual connection, mastery of cakebending, final moments and death.[]
After becoming a fully realized avatar, he wished to contact an avatar who would teach him the art of cakebending (a forgotten art which had faded into legend at the time of Avatar Keka's childhood), so he contacted Avatar Tian who helped him master the art of cakebending, which he mastered in just one year, the world, especially his home, the Air Nomads, were shocked when they watched Avatar Keka perform cakebending for the first time as the art was forgotten, fading into legend for a long time, he then created various dishes of cake enjoyed in the whole world, especially the fire nation.
Due to him contacting and coming to terms with Avatars Kuy Ba, Jian, Imiq, Gedun, Huo-Ran, Hwamei, Amiiq, Suu, Agni, Tudi, Shun, Amapriyar, Wang, Yao, Jengu, Vayu, Xing, Sensu and Kalunga before contacting Avatar Tian, he became an avatar with a much stronger spiritual connection than most other avatars in history.
Avatar Keka eventually died in 664 BG and was reincarnated into Avatar Gun of the southern water tribe.
Appearance in the animated series[]
Avatar Keka only appeared in The Legend of Korra when Korra saw visions of all the avatars before she got her bending restored by Aang at the end of Book 1: Air.
