Kazou was a fire bender who was the son of Mako and Izura. He was the heir to the Fire Nation and was expected to succeed his mother after her reign and be the Fire Lord.
He had two wives: Sayo and Huazo. With his first wife, he had his first son named Masaru. With his second wife, he had his second son Qiang. He died in 248 AG at the age of 57.
History[]

Prince Kazou was born in 191 AG to Mako and Fire Lord Izura. Growing up, his didn't have his father around in his life a lot due to him being Chief of Police in Republic City. He never saw his paternal side of the family much. In 200 AG, he and his mother lived in Zaofu due to the "Restoration Movement", which aimed to take down his mother and himself. They came back after it was done. Kazou married his first wife, Sayo, in 220 AG. His father retired from his role as chief of police. He and his wife had their only son Masaru in 224 AG.
Kazou had never really gotten into any political situations besides being at Royal dinners. He had never joined the Fire Army and would spend his days moping around, finding something to do. When the Fire Avatar, Huazo, moved to the capital in 241 AG, his wife Sayo took up the role of being her teacher. In 243 AG, his wife passed due to a unknown poison. Kazou was sadden by her death. He got married to Avatar Huazo herself in 246 AG, 34 years his junior.
Kazou was unsure if he should like Huazo or not. To him, she seemed fun, but more interested in stuff he was not. The two had a son, Qiang, in 247 AG. Kazou and Huazo were re-doing one of the Royal Palace gardens when Huazo accidentally bended a rock into him, ending him.
Personality[]
Kazou was a wild party man and a 'go with the flow' Prince. He didn't want the responsibility of being Fire Lord and would just stay at home doing nothing. He was a good father to his sons, and did try and teach them things he knew. Kazou could also be stubborn at times, and would want to hold onto history more than embrace new traditions.

Fire Bending[]
Kazou never really cared about his Fire Bending but trained it to impress his parents and others around him. He was good at it, though he only used it if necessary as to him, it was a waste.
